Re: New Battery
Excellent video, I really like this guy, I’ve seen other vids he’s done. My only comment is he used a rather small lithium for the comparison and said it cost $150….the batt above I linked to is 14A/HR, 210 CCA for $150 which is almost twice the CCA of the stock PCX battery.

A friend with a PCX upsized to a 140/70-14 and had no problems-good fit.

Re: New Battery
I guess it all depends on how you’re going to use the battery. My brother has a forza 300 in Philadelphia and his lithium is going on 3 years also with no problems. He doesn’t own a lithium charger, Nor charges it with anything else.. He brings his battery inside during the winter, and just sits it ...

Re: New Battery
I can’t edit so I’ll just add this, in rereading my post, it is much smaller- about half the size of the PCX battery- but fits perfectly because they give you extra pieces of hard foam to make up the difference.

Re: New Battery
4 years old, still cranks like new….very satisfied, 2x the power of stock batt…..1/2 the weight of stock batt….. this is the size of the stock 150 batt Only disadvantages are the cost and need for special charger if you are storing for months in cold weather. I don’t have that problem with Fla. If y...

Re: Bumpy Ride With New Tires
It does not cost “hundreds” to balance the tire/wheel. It takes five minutes and I doubt it’s more than $20 a wheel.

Re: Bumpy Ride With New Tires
Take the wheels back off and go to a dealer/shop and have them balanced. Why do you have them off by some wheel cleaner from Amazon or somewhere and clean the wheel, much easier with them off the bike.

Re: Bumpy Ride With New Tires
Did anybody balance these tires with tire weights professionally? I don’t think you can ask the ride on product to do the total balancing job if they are severely out of balance.

Re: Bumpy Ride With New Tires
Try running on 2 pounds less than what the owners manual recommends for air pressure in each tire and see what that does. I guarantee the RIDE-ON is not causing any problem here. I’ve used the right amounts on five bikes and never had a problem.

Re: Front Wheel Removal (and reinstall)
My dealer will change/mount my tire for 40 bucks if I bring them the wheel. I will never do it again on my own, too much mess and I might hurt myself at my age. They not only change the tire for 40 bucks, they balance it and then completely clean it with wheel cleaner to give me back a completely pr...

Re: Compatible helmet under seat
This will fit fine, you’ll find the most full face helmets will not fit, but standard three-quarter helmets will fit… I use the semi half helmet because it’s cool in the summer but protects your ears and has great protection all around for a lighter helmet that breathes well. This is my 2nd HJC crui...

Re: Full Synthetic Oil
I’d like to see a link on that… I’ve been changing synthetic and mineral oils for 20 years and never had a problem whatsoever. Usually it’s just pulling out the mineral oil that came with the bike, and replacing with synthetic, never a problem. Besides that synthetic oil makers would have massive la...

Re: rear spring replacement, bolt on upgrades?
If you are 220 you should not be bottoming out that shock I am 245 and my PCX was fine. Do you have your shock preload collars in the back set on the strongest preload?… You can find a YouTube on how to get it done and I think it’s in the owners manual. Also you can get a set of YSS shocks off some ...

Re: Forza failure on Sunday - any ideas what happened?
Seven years is a long time for a battery. Batteries in these bikes are not particularly robust, and just from constant use they wear out for lack of a better explanation. In warmer climates there are people that only get 3 to 4 years out of a battery. Yes, batteries can spontaneously fail, all at on...

Re: Windshield Upgrade
If you are a long torso the best way to get rid of bugs off your helmet and face is to add a slightly larger windshield and then add a air foil lip to the top of that windshield. That way you can take it off when you’re not doing long-distance yet on long distance it will keep your helmet completely...

Don’t overthink this… Take the bolt out above, take it over to any auto parts store or Home Depot -match the bolt and tighten everything back up.

There are no differences between a 16 and a 17 except color.
