Re: PCX reactions: whats yours?

On the east coast of the US scooters are typically rare and unusual. Other motorcycle riders won't look twice. The only curious are those who do not ride at all. We are stereotyped as being different....

Many here have no issue taking a huge lone on an expensive Harley to be like the others.

Re: First ride on a Buell...

I had KLR for a while. It was the smoothest shifting bike I had ever rode. Others have said the same. Smooth is all directions. You had something going on there... It does shift smoothly with a few exceptions. Mine is an '88 with over 30K miles. Ok, that explains it. 88' that's a dinosaur! I did th...

Re: What years did the PCX have the "seat hump"?

I have a 2016 with the two up or step up style seat. I have grown to like it. And I am somewhat tall at 5'11" with a 32" inseam. At times I sit on the step and stretch the legs and lock the knees and put the wind in my face.

Oh it's great to feel alive on two wheels!

Re: Which Givi topbox?

Hi all, I am looking to buy a Givi topbox (40 Litres), but there are dozens on the website and I have no idea which is best for my PCX: https://www.givi.co.uk/products/cases I think 40L is sufficient to fit one full-face helmet (AGV K3)? Thanks. A bit late, and just for reference - Givi can supply ...

Re: First ride on a Buell...

When I'm on my KLR or Bandit 1200 I always try to kick it down to neutral as I come rolling up to an intersection with a light or stop sign. I drop it into first when I"m at a dead stop. . .don't like those clunks shifting into first too soon. Sometimes I have to let the clutch out in neutral ...

Great looking scoot! Like others have said, looks the Honda 150SHi. But in reality, the Honda 150SHi looks like a Piaggio! I recently sold my Aprillia Sport City 250 which is styled much like the one you just bought. Great fun! And fast! I too used AF-1 Racing in Austin for parts. They are very good!

Did I mention I bought a 2016 PCX with 554mi on the odometer last May, same day I sold my DL650? I really like the PCX for commuting everyday. Its perfect for my daily trip. Johnny from Galveston, TX and I are like brothers! Stole that for $2600 OTD! You have made an excellent decision and choice. P...

New Forza 2016 ABS

Ok. I read the replies from my previous post. Fish, i even found your website! I just didn't want a scooter designed more for highway. 95% of my rides all not on highway. Based on what I read all over the web the Burgman is a great scoot but maybe more than what I want now. I downsized from a DL1000...

Really considering a Forza--Help

Hello everyone, I am an life long experienced motorcycle owner & rider. I downsized to a scooter last year and I love it. Not going back to a top heavy dual sport bike. I started with a 2008 Aprillia Sport City 250. Bought a 2016 PCX 150. Love both. Sold the Sport City 250. Keeping the PCX for c...

Re: The Wave ...Obsolete ??

I'm sorry but I think the wave is annoying....everyone does it around here especially Harley riders. The sport bike gang would be the last to wave but 50% still do. Frankly I hate removing my hand from the bars. Flat out unsafe at times....

The mighty PCX struggled a little on all of the hills but she gets into a rhythm and runs at about 40mph on the steep hills at full throttle. Keep in mind I had a load of gear.

PCX performs admirally!

I mentioned in a previous post I would be riding the new PCX to the Smokey Mtn region right on down the Blue Ridge Parkway, I did it! Seven days and six nights camping every night. I had a good size load packed. The PCX performed perfectly. I am really pleased with the addition of the larger tires f...

Great deal! Almost as good as mine. I paid for a 2016, $2600 out the door with 500 miles. I absolutely love this little pony. In fact I am packed and ready to run the Blue Ridge Parkway from Charlottesville to Deals Gap this coming weekend!

Installed new tires and riding the BRP.

Reading that I could increase tire size....having read mostly every post I could find. I bought the City Grips 140/70 & 120/70. Using Homie's YouTube video to slightly move the air box. Having the 2016 model, I wasn't able to mount the right side of the mud fender. Rather I installed an M-6x35mm...
