Re: so is this the sound of a bad bearing
Multitudes easier than replacing anything of a similar ilk on a car. You just need 17, 22 & 39mm HEX(!) sockets from memory, I think. I'm serious on the hex sockets, at least for the 39mm, as the nut is made of thin cheese. I'm not volunteering anyone, but there might be a certain member in Gain...

Re: Rollers or Sliders
Perhaps you both could answer strictly to acceleration at any range from 0 to 55 mph... Which would be "quicker" from 0 to 55?? .. 13g sliders with stock face? .. or the whole NCY kit (or equivalent brand)?? If they both have the same weight sliders/rollers, the stock variator/drive face ...

Re: Rollers or Sliders
Soo.... based upon - the idea that changing out ONLY rollers/sliders is the best thing for improving acceleration [and I have no need for more top end] - and this video --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxcQGmT8EJc I think I'll try the 13g sliders (13g is frequently mentioned for rollers, at leas...

Re: Where can I get this no hump seat? ... or even just a co
BikerzBits' seats don't use a genuine seat base, and therefore your rubber seal that you have to transfer won't fit as well. I wish I knew about MpMotorSeats when I bought mine from PowerByPCX: http://www.mpmotorseat.com/HONDAPCXSEAT You can choose between a genuine seat base or a crappy one like Bi...

Re: Newly installed Rotor disc and pass switch....
Why do you call your Hi Low beam switch a Pass switch. Mine does not have the words Pass on mine. His switch has a 3 way rocker instead of a 2 way rocker. There is an extra momentary switch that if you flick down will briefly flash the highbeam. This is known as a pass(ing) switch, and is more comm...

Re: Two up hill climbing
Sliders have a slightly smaller profile than rollers at lower revs, so are supposed to have a gearing advantage. At the top end, 13g sliders will add 10km extra top speed on the centre stand, with better acceleration. 11g sliders work out to be roughly the same top speed as stock on the stand, with ...

Re: Two up hill climbing
The big advantage of upgrading the variator and drive face is that it gives you more top end...like around 10 mph more. Since you don't need top end for speed, it helps you to maintain speed going up a hill. Most of us lose speed going up a hill to the point where you have it wide open and are stil...

Re: So the 2017 White is the fastest Pcx ever
Don't worry Mr Rider, you can get a speedo calibration thingy-bob of some sort to address over/under-reading.
I've not investigated those, but PCXdemon may have had some experience with them if I stretch my memory?

The speedo is an electronic thing that runs along the top of the CVT back to the transfer case under a black plastic shroud.

Re: Two up hill climbing
It's quite hilly where I live, and I weigh 260lbs. When I added sliders it was a remarkable improvement.
My original clutch was pretty stuffed by 4500kms, so I replaced it with the KN Planning one I mentioned, and it's quite good now.
