Re: Careful in the wet

I have a large thread. :P They work as advertised. I am a bit shy on top speed with the old belt but a lot faster than stock w/o hitting the rev limiter like I did at 68. I also see faster acceleration at lower speeds. The only question now is whether a better belt (Kevlar) is worthwhile and does th...

Re: How cold will you ride?

That is wide open (87 mph) which I only did for the test. Probably little effect at normal speeds. I see about 1-2 mph speed drop with the Givi V47 on my Forza's top speed so the drag effect is minimal after testing it several times with and w/o. Wind gusts on the PCX might be a different issue give...

Re: How cold will you ride?

I am looking the Shad over too in that size range. The reviews seem better than the Givi E370 that has some latching issues in lots of comments. It has to be removable though.

Re: Motor Oil Question

Well to throw a wrench in the gears there might be a few negatives to more viscous oil like a very slight change in mileage or top speed but it is slight. When you throw the anti-friction additives in the mix It becomes less clear of the difference but I am sure someone has measured it somewhere. In...

Re: Careful in the wet

Only three deaths in 2014 - there have been something like 35 since 2000. Some of our Ozark foothill roads get pretty similarly gnarly. Folks just need to slow down.

I have my heart set on Donald Trump's Sikorsky S-76C for a cool $15M. 10' wide cabin and 178 mph. The best of everything including a bar.

From the new Thunderbird's series return. :P I remember when Bell move to Rantoul, IL in the 80s. They really innovated a lot of today's features.

Re: 2015 PCX 150 performance vs previous models

Must be carburated vs fuel injected.

I trade a bit and oil fell to $44.25 a barrel yesterday setting a new 6 year low. Gas still should be falling. Gas here should get below $1.50 soon. About 1.76 now.

My Forza will fly all day at 70 mph but mileage is only around 70 mpg. I know they nail you guys for gas over there.

Re: Project Legroom Complete!!

I think we need to add height to the profiles. How tall are you folks doing the re-do's? I am 5' 11" and seem comfortable but i rarely ride for more than a few hours w/o a break. I think much taller would be an issue. My windshield may need trimming if i move back much.

Re: Careful in the wet

The testing I read said there is no difference between the IRC's and the M Grips as long as the pavement is dry. The significant difference is when the pavement is wet. I don't ride on wet pavement. One test was just riding on paint strips and the IRC's were pretty slippery he claimed relative to th...

I picked up one of these OEM assemblies after a two month back-order and stamped on the edge of the roller bearing is - you guessed it "China".

Re: 2015 PCX 150 performance vs previous models

They helped the "hump" seat a bit but yes it is slower. Even buying now I would go for a real bargain price on a new 2013 here and throw a $100 seat on it again. I like red though. Here the 2015's are only black and white/pearl. I like the white.

Re: How cold will you ride?

I think I want to go with a 37 L whether Shad or Givi for the space and I want the back rest as well. I have seen the 30s and they are a bit small.
