Re: Upgrade front brakes - best replacements
The reason why i am suggesting sintered is that all organic pads i have used produce a LOT of brake dust that make very regular maintenance of caliper a must - else you have stuck pistons etc etc. A stuck piston that does not retract correctly will eat your pad in time, overheat the disc. I cannot c...

Re: Upgrade front brakes - best replacements
Ok i understand.
As hinted by oyabun and others it looks that better pads and braided Hose will get you most of the way- You can still add a bigger rotor after but these two seem to have the most impact. Re-read the thread i linked maybe? There are other posts around the forum.

I have a new front disc and EBC sintered pads that i will install soon. Looking to install braided lines too but ready...

Hi Iceman,
Print this PDF out, make sure you select "actual scale" or 100%. I checked a print against the drive face and its accurate. It should be quite easy to drill a plank and use just two bolts...

Re: Belt, clutch & face set - 1st maintence after 4.5 years!
Mine looks simllar but the small 'studs' are shorter. The one that has the large mound behind it is about 3/4 the depth of the mound whereas yours look about 1.5 times the depth. Too short to be of use. Also they are only about 4mm wide whereas they should be 6mm (1/4" inch is ideal fit as 6mm...

"they barely go in at all" ?? I'm using the same one - Buzzetti 5637. My mech had once tightened the variator nut with an impact wrench and when i tried to remove it a month later it was so tight that i was lifting the whole pcx from ground before it untightened- i forbid him to ever do th...

Re: Belt, clutch & face set - 1st maintence after 4.5 years!
In order to do a proper maintenance you MUST get that nut out. Impact wrenches -forget about it. Get a proper Holding tool, i am using Buzzetti universal and it works fine. It has a tendency to slip at the bottom, just keep in place against the central stand with your feet while unscrewing the bolt....

Hi Label_28
Model code is WW125EX2F year 2015
Don't bother - it's not the same color and never seen any NHA16P on Thai websites. Thanks anyway!

Re: Honda PCX engine lost power and maximum speed reduction
Dear Label_28 You don't know how good you have in Thailand. Just for the crankshaft thing ( not even talking about transmission etc) i was quoted 1.400 EUR 4 years ago with a pcx mk1 ( non esp). The bike had 15.000 km and just a month or so over the 2 years warranty. I had done all my maintenance wi...

Read the above carefully. If frame is bent it will probably be declared totalled.Mel46 wrote: The big problems might come if you are told that the frame is bent or the forks are bent, or something similar.

Re: Damaged new drive face when torquing. Is this an issue?
If you spin that at 8000 rpm it will be out of balance without doubt. Even if it does not look like a lot of mass is missing, centrifugal forces are in play- i would replace the part.

Re: Just swapped original belt for a malossi x-kevlar
Your top speed went back to normal because the old belt was nearing end of life- it would have been the same with OEM Honda belt ( which is cheaper BTW).
There are some good deals on J.costa EVO 3 right now, I'm quite happy with it on my 2014 Led 125.
