You can laugh at this product all you want, but it might be the next big thing. Remember, you heard it here first.
As for me, I'm waiting for the return of Porta-Walls. Any of you geezers remember them? I want a set of them for my BMW; should be the perfect custom touch.

Re: Why Is The Throttle So Hard To Control At Slow Speeds?
Welcome, Amandaville. I'd say your scoot's performance isn't normal. As Aguim says, it should be super-smooth at all speeds; that would be normal. I would take off the final drive cover and look for glazed surfaces or dirt in the clutch. It's an easy enough fix: clean the parts and blow out the dust...

With the right full-face helmet your head will stay warm all winter. Fugeddaboudit. Shoei makes some nice ones with removable chin protectors that keep that cool breeze away from your neck and chin. Spend some money, live a little, sez me.

New mid-size BMW scooter revealed at EICMA
I like that expandable underseat storage idea. BMW always thinking. Nice scoot, will not come cheap, though.

Re: Self-authored Honda Forza 300 Review
Hi, Hugh Jaz Thanks for the review. You put a lot of work into that, and I'm with you. If I had to get rid of all my bikes except one (actually not a bad Idea), I would keep the Forza. It's one of my favorite bikes ever. Hard to explain unless you own one, I guess. Stick with us on the Forza forum. ...

Great idea. Sounds expensive, though. That could be a problem, saleswise.

+1 on the left brake lever -- On Forzas you have to really grab hold of it, much more than you would to operate the brake.

Re: Forza Spanner Wrench; Original Windshield; & Glove Box P
That glove box part looks to be in pretty good condition, but I already have one. I keep mine in my spare Honda parts area just in case, 'cuz you never know.
Thanks for the offer anyway.

Luv my Thermoscud (in the winter).
The look on your face tells me you may be thinking about getting a windshield for that beauty as well.

Confirmed. Sorry about the confusion. When you get them you'll notice that one has a slightly larger diameter than the other. The larger one goes on the twistgrip side, your right-hand side.

Re: Hand grips compatibility
They take the 3/4 inch grips if you order from a US supplier. I'm not how Rizoma sells them in Italy, but almost all European and Asian bikes use that size. The other size is 1 inch, which is for Harley-Davidsons. Biltwell in the US makes really nice grips too.https://www.revzilla.com/biltwell?gclid...

I certainly take your point, you you, and I agree that nobody should care about the rich people who came here for the big money and their nice flooded homes and their nice flooded cars, and nobody does care and I don't either. I do feel for the poor people who do not live here by choice just as thei...

Re: Texas flooding...
Hey Mel, Thanks for asking. We did OK on our little street, which is in the middle of the island at the dizzying altitude of 18 feet, plus the island has pretty good drainage as long as it doesn't rain more than 5-6 inches per hour. So the house didn't get wet and the garage floor just got washed a ...

I do.
Lucky for me, though, if I want to help flood victims I don't have to go halfway around the world, all I have to do is go up to my daughter's house in Dickinson. Think I'll do that this afternoon.
