Re: Precious has a new owner....

So - you have the Buell - anything else on the horizon? You were toying with something electric. is that still on your radar? (Zero's new SR looks like a usable (and fun) machine for day trips. You can bet as soon I get settled I will be heading down to the Honda dealer to test ride a 2020 PCX, The...

Precious has a new owner....

A very nice knowledgeable and capable fellow is picking up the Precious today. I can tell he has good mechanical skills and will take excellent care of my baby. I'm saddened but content for the moment as he paid a fair price and appreciates the mods and extras. Horn and luggage box lock mods I offer...

Looks like she got away lucky with her helmet on and by retracting her leg. Not so much for the helmetless other guy. Highway speeds on back roads seems a little crazy.

Re: How long does it take for the engine oil to warm up?

Someone who put an oil temp gauge on their single cylinder motorcycle engine reported this; "From a cold start idle it takes 2 minutes to reach an oil temperature of 90 degrees." "It amazes me how long it takes the engine to get to 150. If I start at about 90 degrees it takes at least...

Re: The Fuell... electric Buell launch

I thought the Florida house was to escape to the warmth and that you were keeping both houses? Well youyou we have a new governor here in Chicagoland and lately its his plan to steal from the upper class to prop up the states corruption and debt. So I've decided to give Illinois the bird, leave and...

I have a subscriber that has a non-LED PCX key that won't turn off in the ignition. Never heard of this problem so I ask him to join us and get some advise and options.

Re: What exactly happened here?

I guess that could have been worse if you must go off. I would be looking to see if the phone was still in the cradle. I'm betting that cell went off the bridge and in the drink... no way to call for extraction at that point out there in borderland. Something to think about if you have those mounts ...

Order march 4th delivery 2021.... boooooooo questions remaining i can't find answers to: 1. What are Flow and Flow-1s top speeds 2. Charge at public station for the motorbike? Because it won't say charge at home like it does for the bicycle. I wouldn't make it to a public charging station  tha...

Better specs here... seems the first article mixed up specifications. I think they had the bicycle sporting the motorcycle batteries and performance or visa versa  https://electrek.co/2019/03/05/motorcycle-pioneer-erik-buell-launches-new-electric-motorcycle-brand-fuell/ website https://fuell.us/

Re: The Fuell... electric Buell launch

I'm going to hold my nose and treat this like a BIG scooter purchase. Easy to clean, quiet to ride and really counting on it being as nimble as the Buell racing designs. Surely he would have insisted this thing ride like a champion.

Re: The Fuell... electric Buell launch

If that THING is really 11k screw it i'll buy one. If it sucks i'll sell it and take the hit. This is how its going and if Erik Buell thinks I should ride that weird looking contraption maybe it rides better than it looks. Is that a green back lite trim or just decal? I'd like to wipe that windscree...
