2015PCX - Which "brackets" fit the Givi topboxes?
Hi Folks, I'm trying to get a bracket to fit givi E300B for the new 2015 PCX (white of course but the red looks very very nice in the sun after I spotted a rider the other week). I know that there are a few brackets from Givi, Kappa and genuine Honda bracket (Shad?) but would all of them be suitable...

Re: Keeping pcx stabilized/balanced at high speeds
I do a fair bit of highway riding and have found being a little loose on the grips, anticipating the draft as on coming semi's pass me and generally relaxing. The first time I rode highway it did not please me, however with practice, I now love it. It's a great cruiser. For me the key is to relax a...

Re: Should I just stick with premium fuel?
Interesting. In Oz 91 is regular, 95 is mid and 98 RON is premium. You can also get 89 and 91 E10 (10% ethanol) which is the cheapest.
What's the regular/premium RON in other countries?

Re: Trade in question
Prepare to pay. When you rode out of the showroom you just lost $1000 or so. The dealer will by buying a second hand bike from you. If you have an excellent relationship with the dealer it might help but think of the second buyer. What would you pay for a second hand (even almost new) PCX vs a new o...

On a side note, people here are cray about the Suzuki Burgman. Dunno why but they're everywhere. And they are ugly as hell (IMHO, to each their own...) @tbln930, I got too carried away riding the bike for the first time and forgot to stop and take a nice pic. I promise I'll take some better ones wh...

Re: Getting my first bike soon!
Zero, welcome to the rest of your life ! :D 8) I have ridden bikes from the mind-bendingly fast to the stupidly slow. The one thing they all have in common is the smile-factor (and ability to efficiently transport me from a to b). Even though it's a scooter, strongly recommend getting some advanced ...

Top box fitting kit for 2015 PCX
Hi all, I have had a look on givi website and unless I'm retarded  or something can find nothing that tells me what fitting kit I need for the 2015 PCX150. I even got an email back from a supplier saying "Yes sir, you need a fitting kit specific to your bike (for a E300B)" but failed...

Re: Preformance Spark Plug...
I've changed plugs over the years and tried a few different models and come to the conclusion that there is zero discernible difference provided the gap and plug specification is the same. Plug = spark = combustion when mixed with the correct air/fuel. That's about the size of it. Fuel and air mixtu...

We have an overweight Integra with zero storage (hardly a scooter then), a pretty darn perfect Dio, PCX and Forza 300 range an...

Scooters are COOL
I happened across this article and it pretty much sums up why I love scooters, possibly even more than manual bikes these days for the day to day riding, short trips, heck even long trips. Anyway, shared below....

Re: Death Wobble
Bit of a random thread this one. Death wobble? Not sure what you're referring to. Tank slappers are different, quite violent and have unpredictable outcomes. Possible on any bike but not likely on a scooter. Also good for exercising sphincter muscles for you and the oncoming driver you're possibly a...

Re: PCX 150 on bumper of RV?
Tie down would be the same as transporting via truck/road train I suspect. Presumably a flat floor, secure the wheels/rims and a strap over the seat to hold the rest. I'd also consider strapping the bars to prevent unwanted movement (movement = wear = potential damage or deterioration). Good luck. L...

Re: Just started scooting.
Hi all. You reminded me of a time i shredded a belt when riding. I was in Vietnam (Yamaha Nuovo) going along a street I know well in Nha Trang. Probably 50km/h and suddenly lots of rattling/noise from the tranny but no forward motion. Anyway, pulls over, checks the bike. Nothing visible. Starts up a...

Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders
Yep, just type in "honda pcx150 dr pulley" to eBay. Bingo. I see even Web Bike japan (best and I mean best website on the planet for pcx) is using eBay too although check the prices against their website as I think the exchange rate must be ferked on some of them (paying $100-odd more). Be...

Re: Biggest Tire. (and also 100/120 variation)
I have read somewhere that you can fit 100 front and 120 rear but I can't find any manufacturers that do this size for the pcx. I want some middle ground (nimble, similar speed, bit larger tyre) and 100/120 seems to me a fair compromise rather than 120/140 which is still an option. Does anyone know ...
