Sunglasses are no use because you can't swap between clear and tint on the go.
Which you need to be able to do.
Pop-down sunvisor eqipped helmet is my preferred option.

Re: Year and Fuel request :)
You don't need to know the year for fuel, they all use the same.
First reg in Feb 2018 means likely manufactured in 2017, but not guaranteed.
Depending which country your in it could be a 2017, 2018 or 2019.
As previously stated, the VIN will tell you actual year of manufacture.

Long trips with passenger?
Forget 125, not enough engine.
If its a Honda you're set on, get the Forza 300 or 350

Re: What should I do about this rust?
You've found one of the few areas of the PCX which demands constant maintenance. The black yoke and chrome stanchions need to be rubbed over with ACF50 at least once a week, daily in winter, to stop this corrosion forming. If the stanchions corrode in the working area it can cause oil leaks through ...

Sold mine with 33,000 miles on clock, engine was running sweet like new.
Don't think the valve clearances were ever checked.

GN - what battery is good for the PCX and costs around £20 (before the usual looking around and reading loads of reviews)? That post you're referencing was from 2016, I can't remember stuff from last week  Anywho, have had a look and found this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YTZ7-S-Q-Batteries-12...

10,000 miles?! I won't even go that long in our car! Isn’t that pushing the oil to its limit? Nope its fine. My car goes 12,500 miles between changes and some cars go 20,000 miles between changes. I once went over 50,000 miles between changes in a car and did over 220,000 miles in it. Guy I sold it...

Have you been guddling in the transmission?
Might have damaged the speed sensor or its wire.
