Re: Newbe
First post. Not new to motor bikes. Had my SH150i stolen last summer and just yesterday replaced it with a 2013 PCX 150. Purchased from original owner with just 2500 km on it. I saved the Honda top box from the SH and ordered Honda #08L70-KZY-910 mount for the PCX. Hoping they will fit together. I ...

Re: Lifespan of Tires & Battery
Ok, I just ordered a replacement tire from Revzilla. They have the best prices. ($50.34 and free shipping) I ordered a Michelin City Grip 90/90-14. I had hoped to hold off until I could find a larger tire for the front, 100/80-14 perhaps, but no website that I could find had them in Michelin City G...

Re: Cheeky seats
Many thanks everyone, I’m liking what your saying, may have to invest in one. Because I have the hump on mine, do I need extra padding ? There is a bit of a void once you remove the hump, I used packing foam to fill it up as suggested by Cheeky Seats But you don't need the top of the line seat cove...

Re: EFI and Non Ethanol Gas
Ethanol can absorb water, so it's good to use non-ethanol if not runing for several months
I use Chevron 94 octane, which is overkill but the only gas we have without ethanol

Re: Lifespan of Tires & Battery
Searching on google.....I seen several tire manufactures have a date stamped on their tires, and suggest not to exceed this date regardless of mileage...typically it's 6 years The factory tires seem to be rather hard rubber, which makes them not so great in the wet weather....not sure if they were t...

Lifespan of Tires & Battery
My 2013 PCX is 5 years old which makes me think the battery and tires are getting near the end of their lives. My scooter only has 3900 KMS (2400 miles) so there is really no visible tire wear, but rubber does has a shelf live As for the battery, no issues yet but I don't really want to wait until t...

Re: Broken Honda trunk box
Well my MacGyver fix lasted 8 months....so this time I used the idea from PCX150Rider I've used 10 AWG stranded wire with connectors....I first just removed the old arms but quickly found out the strain on the ty-wraps holding the arms was too much. I have cut off the connecting clips, as they have ...

I've seen these Motorino electric scooters that have similar performance to a 50cc scooter (45 MPH) but cost more than a PCX-150

Re: What has been your longest continual ride on the PCX?
Ummm....does that count as a "ride"? LOL....well not really, but even not counting the ferry portion, it still was my longest journey... as my next longest ride would have be about 8 miles (12.5 KMS). My typical ride is to get beer & food, which is about a mile away. In two years I on...

Re: What has been your longest continual ride on the PCX?
My longest trip was when I bought my PCX in Nanaimo (Vancouver Island) and drove it home to Vancouver BC.
The trip was about 50 miles (80 KMS) but most of that distance was in a ferry

Kicked the fuel tank cover lid
I stop at my local gas station to fill up, turn off the key and pressed the tank cover button to pop-open the fuel cover lid. As I get off the bike, the heel of my shoe clips the open cover lid and knocks if off centre just a wee bit, so I close it to see how bad it is Dumb move as now I can't open ...

Re: Revving on center stand, due to frequent slow speed.
This is a story of a man who has logged 12,000 miles on his 1985 Honda Elite 150 scooter, which may not sound so unusual but this man is a special needs and has logged every mile on his father's drive way, as he does not have a drivers licence. The local Honda dealership offered him the opportunity ...
