Re: No scooter riding for me for awhile.
If it's any consolation, it's a very fashionable injury with footballers. Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, Ashley Cole and Steven Gerrard have all broken their fifth metatarsals. For the Americans here, perhaps the one you'll know is David Beckham, but I am sorry - he broke his second metatarsal, not fif...

Re: Hi~ I'm living in Seoul South Korea
(Also made using google translate!) Great post with lots of nice pictures - bacon and chilli sauce sounds amazing. Heading out to Korea next month myself. More picture stories of...

Re: How is the scooter "culture" in your area?
I live in London - quite amusing to watch that YouTube vid khoasaming. That's Exhibition Road near where I studied. I've not had any aggro at all. London is awash with scoots and motorcycles. I'd say 50% of them are couriers/delivering food. You'll see literally thousands in a day - especially as tw...

Re: Rear wheel not spinning
Cheers all. A few days on, I *THINK* the resistance I'm feeling is probably normal, but I'm due my next service soon and I'll ask them to check it out. Thanks for the advice.

Rear wheel not spinning
Hey guys. Cracking weather here in London - 32C in the shade, beautiful PCX weather. Noticed the scoot was a little harder to push than normal, with a slight whirring sound coming from rear wheel. Scooter was riding just fine before then. Up on stand rear wheel doesn't free-spin at all when I push i...

Re: Red paint & hello from London
Thanks tildarama, but probably a moot point now as I'll replace the panels and not bother with any paint. Reading your other thread - you and I did our CBT and got our PCXs on the exact same day. Hope yours is doing better than mine!

Re: Red paint & hello from London
Good point gn re: tax. Thanks very much Mel46 and uploader - exactly what I needed. Rebrab I'm afraid I am attached to red, went to some lengths to get a good one as I wanted it to match my cage and my pedal bike, I must get a photo of the red line up some time. I've been obsessed with red vehicles ...

Re: Red paint & hello from London
Cheers for all the comments and suggestions guys. Rebrab thanks for the break down in prices - similar to what I found online - but I must say I can't find many UK websites selling OEM parts for some reason (any recommendations from UK people?) To be honest it's working out cheaper to buy the parts ...

Re: Red paint & hello from London
UPDATE: My worries about the little scuff have proved to be irrelevant. Went to the Post Office feeling happy as I was picking up my glastonbury festival tickets, returned to find my scoot on its side. Some utter c**t had hit it - can see where the car's paint scratched off on the right side - knock...

Re: Red paint & hello from London
Cheers gn - I'll take a look. If it does turn out to be pricey, I think I'll go for the nearest match I can find cheaply as the scuff is about the size of a 2p piece so I'd try to keep the area sanded small. Or just be lazy and leave it.

Red paint & hello from London
Hi all, I'm snake from London - got my PCX this week from a previous owner who seems to have looked after it very well. Look forward to getting involved with the forum. A quick query I haven't been able to find via a search - what is the exact paint the red PCXs use? I'm new to two wheels and have a...
