Re: PCX 2019 bigger wheels on older PCX (2016)

Rear will most probably fit right on, I have doubt on the front. At least the disc and bolt pattern is different - that's what I've found when tried to move the big brake kit from my 2015 bike to my new 2019 one.

What TomTom has said above. Fork oil (especially on such a very basic fork as on the PCX and the Forza) is a maintenance item, which is degrading over time and thus should be changed. These forks doesn't even have sliding Teflon bushes, so besides damping, all lubrication is provided by the fork oil...

Re: Can I clean the oil filter without removing the oil?

Frankly, I wouldn't bother either way. The PCX has less than 1l of oil, so even if you drop it at once it costs almost nothing. Also as others have mentioned, what had been cached by the mesh screen it is in good place, what hasn't been capture is free to flow with the oil anyway. Go ride it, and ma...

Re: Has The PCX finally met it's match ??

Its a styling exercise, nothing more. Essentially a PCX with long travel suspension and a cosmetic makeover. Well, cosmetic makeover in the same sense as this sort of thing Nothing more ? Well appart from the Showa sports shocks, longer travel front forks, wide fat bars, rear disc brake, ABS, chunk...

Yes, they did install without any issues. Just like the bike without them.

Re: Waiting Impatiently for My PCX Hybrid

Subscribed. Also would like to see the differences of the hybrid compared to the non hybrid bike.
As I understand the hy rid is a parallel hybrid, so essentially the ACG starter is used as a device to add some electric Ooomph to the internal combustion engine.
Am I right?

Re: How Cold Will You Go?

If it doesn't snowing or the roads are not iced up, I ride until about 10F or - 12C. With a medium Givi screen, grip heating, and Tucano urbano, I don't even have to install the heat insulation layer into my jacket down until like 0C or 30-ish F. Somebody had wrote that the Tucano for the 19 models ...

Re: Screens for 2019 model

I also have the clear Givi one on my recently purchased 19 model. Somehow I feel that the lower Givi s teen on my 13 model PCX had provided better protection on the other hand I have absolutely no buffeting with this current one - so it's a wash. Also received the mirror extenders with it. They are ...

Re: 1st ride with new winter gear

I ride through the year, down to -10-12 deg C. So far never used a heated jacket or gloves, but I have a tucano urbano apron on the PCX. Tis year is the first one when I've considered to buy heated west under the jacket. The pin lock thing is certainly brilliant tho. Don't hesitate to try it. I'd ev...

Re: Buzz from ABS

Not really the quick fix I was hoping for . Not much point disabling the ABS altogether, but thanks for the post Yeah, but what are you expecting? The ABS pump is buzzing. Period. It buzzes in all applications, let it be a car, or a motorcycle. As it is in front of you and the body of the scooter i...

Re: 2016 Honda Forza 125 ABS LIGHT BLINKING

If you want to work on your own bike, and not to trust a service with such wehicle safety system as an ABS, at least buy a service manual.
I'm pretty sure the ABS unit reset and self check procedure is described in there.

Re: Buzz from ABS

I'm pretty sure if you're removing the fuse of the ABS the buzz will go away - together with the ABS function.
Come on, the ABS is buzzing. As you are closer to it on the bike than in a car, you hear it. Nothing wrong with that.

Re: << 2020 vs 2019 Differences >>

It hasn't been officially mentioned anywhere.... But the SH150i is getting a resigned 4 valve engine. And the SH150i shares the same engine with the PCX.... So there's a pretty good chance the PCX will get this same, newly redesigned engine. But at the same time, if there's a lot of extra, old 2 va...

No removal here ?? Some do and some don't ?? I know that video, and it's great that you've linked it here. As it is a perfect representation of how not to do a fork oil change. First of all, he had to support and raise the bike, remove all fairings, front brakes, axle, fender and wheel and still ma...

Re: Changing Forks oil? Really!

The question remains.. At what interval?? Mileage , years, environment, etc etc . Nothing lasts forever but 20,000, miles , 10,000 miles, .. I don't think HONDA has a routine maintenance program for fork oil. ??Some think when the seals leak its time to do it all. Oils of today account for many of ...

Re: Changing Forks oil? Really!

Some partially correct information, and some misunderstandings so far. As someone mentioned, utomotive shock absorbers are sealed units, thus last londdr, but they are also not lasting forever. If you'd put a brand new and your "perfectly good after xx thousand miles" shock on a shock dyno...

First of all, welcome to the forums and shall you enjoy your new ride for long time.

Second, it's in the description. One is for 2018-19 bikes (like yours) and the other one is for earlier models.
