How-to make 2011-2013 PCX gel/cooling seat pad...
Hi all, Thought I should share a way of making an 'AirHawk' style seat pad on your own at very minimal cost. I double checked with Givi and the cover listed covers 2011-2013 PCX models only. In order for the cover to fit with the added height of the gel insert you do need to remove the driver's &qu...

Re: Hi Visibiliy and being seen!!
Darn. I assumed so but truly appreciate your honesty! I put SOLAS tape around the flange/rim of my Honda trunk. That stuff is one of the brightest out there. Will add some of the same black reflective stuff as you did on the body lines (I will copy yours) as i went ahead and ordered some with high v...

Re: Hi Visibiliy and being seen!!
Yeah thanks Dustin. Your post is the reason I decided to try the tape before the LED lights. In the daylight you can barely see the black tape. I wanted to use even more but thought about how it would just be that much more to remove if the need arose. I'm gonna live with this for a while and see h...

Sorry all. I can finally see the images. No need to explain what cupping is! Wow that is horrible.

Re: Holy cupping Batman!
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at...? All I can see in the foreground is a normal front tyre and there's no cups anywhere. Cups usually either have tea or tits in them. Oh man! I almost fell off my chair! LOL! Anyway, cupping of tires is found by running your hand both with...

Re: New Member
I will seriously recommend the NCY Variator, 13gram rollers, NCY driveface and new Honda belt. (Unless the one now is in great shape) My 2013 PCX150 went from about 63mph indicated, to about 75mph with no wind, flatland and doing the Bonneville Salt Flats tuck! Makes this PCX more rideable out on U...

Thanks for the welcome, all .
WhiteNoise, I'll try and find a picture of the old yellow Honda. And I'll definitely be posting pictures of my big upcoming drive!
Best,
Scott

New scooter owner
Hello fellow scooter owners from around the globe! I wanted to introduce myself. I started riding dirt bike with a Honda 50CCA (circa mid 60's) when I was 5 years old in '72. My parents still own it and I actually rode it my last visit back with my wife who still laughs about it to this day! Says I ...

Re: How-To: Valve Adjustment for Honda PCX
Now you have done it! Oil is a slippery topic with lots of opinions. :D Seriously though, I can only speak to my experience and habits. I have always used the manual recommended oil. Pro Honda HP4M 10w30 Since I do all my own maintenance, cost is not a factor for me, I change it every 3,000km. Also...

Re: How-To: Valve Adjustment for Honda PCX
In preparation for a long trip, I decided to check my valves among other things. At 13480 km, I found my valve lash to be spot on. That is about 9000 km since my last check. Needless to say I am happy. :D Well I just rolled over 20,000km and my bikes performance is amazing. No concerns about a valv...
