Re: Dirty rims...

You do not want ceramic pads, you want organic. Ceramic are hard and wear the rotors, plus leave a lot of dust from the wear (rotors are cast iron which quickly rusts to a brown color). You want organic, which are soft and sacrificial, plus have a better feel. I use S100 (not the wheel cleaner) on p...

Re: Advice for anti theft

For what it is, a convenient deterrent, the Grip-Lock is quite good. A thief would have to cut the brake cable if hot-wiring, or dolly/carry the scoot into a van.

Re: Exhaust Slider

I think it depends on the design. A crash bung is going to protect against parking horizontally, but if the threaded rod is too hard yes, it could bend the frame when pavement surfing. If it's soft enough and sacrificial, that's what you want--it can be grabbed with a ViceGrips(tm) and bent somewhat...

Re: Running lights

I'm not really a fan of the upper lights, but the lower LED strips...wow! That makes the front look great!

My size [url=https://ls2helmets.us/road-touring/stream]LS2 Stream: .... + Affordable + DOT AND ECE approved + built-in, flip down sun visor. I sure don't miss carrying spares! + An equivalent Shoei or Arai costs at least triple, but are slightly more comfortable. - Has click closure, which makes it...

You could clean and gap it, but why? For $1.29 screw a new one in. Looks great though.

Re: GoPro Mount Suggestions

I have a dual-ball mount on my Honda Fury master brake housing and can mount a cell phone (for GPS) and camera. As others have said the handlebars aren't a great mounting point due to vibration, you're better off putting it on your body. (Mentioned because someone said bigger bikes have more vibrati...

you you wrote:They are excellent. Get the ordinary motorcycle ones rather than the dedicated scooter ones....
Are the grips hard or soft? I've put heated grips on ATVs for other people and the hard plastic is very annoying if they have a buzzy machine, and offers no impact resistance.

Re: WOLO Bad Boy Horn 12 Volt

I have one on a Slingshot, and will note: It draws about 10A. The main horn should trigger a relay, which the secondary is fed by. Battery -> Fuse -< Relay -> Horn Drawing a large amount of current can pose problems with sensitive electrical systems, not sure if the PCX would be affected. IF you do ...

Re: Honda PCX Manual

Hello! My girlfriend just bought a new 2017 PCX150 in blue--beautiful! She drove it all the way home (35 miles) no problem, right out of the box. (She's the only one to put miles on it, I'm so happy for her!) Anyway, if someone would PM me the link to the Service Manual I'd appreciate it. After read...
