Big chain lock, plus pcx alarm on, in secure location like a parking lot or resident compound with security guards.
I am fully aware that the notorious BIG VAN branded "BIG GOLD CUP" can whip my bike away in 3 seconds.

Re: What has been your longest continual ride on the PCX?
My longest one-day tour on PCX was last June.
11 hours for 400 miles, all terrain, mainly highway.
Engine oil burnt a bit, but power stable all the time.
BTW, I don't feel tired at all whatsoever. 30 plus of age, just don't get tired on bikes.

Re: two more go down this week...
I have crushed numerous times.
I have my own gold principle now: SLOW DOWN, WHEN I AM NOT SURE WHAT IS IN FRONT. hence, I seldom exceed 50 MPH, 60 MPH for expressway.

Re: Motor oil burned 100ml for 2500km
Filled new Mobil fs 0w-40 @5500km to 8000km (now). Yesterday, I checked the engine oli level, insufficient, top up 100ml, OK. All day time driving 28-37 degree Celsius. Long tour 400km average, including a 600km one day tour. Is it normal? Based on my experience with my 2015 here in northern Colora...

Re: Help pls: min. residual? 120 for rear tyre?
I'm confused. the 1.5mm / 2.0mm is just minimum tread depth to ensure that the tyre has sufficient ability to extract water from under the tyre in the rain to minimise the chance of aquaplaning (never a good thing on a bike!), and also ensures you don't get a blowout at 100km in a loaded turn becau...

Help pls: min. residual? 120 for rear tyre?
I read the JPN manual, there is a line lin Japanese like "groove residual" below the tyre specs, saying 1.5mm for front, 2.0mm for rear. Do anyone understand the meaning. My concern is, as I plan to install a 120mm tyre for rear, should this mean the min. residual between tyre and fender, ...

120 rear tyre, fit or not?
My 2016 PCX has a puncture in rear tyre, got it fixed but now leak air fast and furious.
I am thinking replace a 100 width for front, 120 width for rear tyre.
Do they fit perfectly?
Thank you.

My 2016 PCX has the similar burning smell, very weird smell even after 5K miles.
I was quite concerned, but now that I see this post not concerned any more.

Re: Strange finding, after I filled up the tank.
Cold fuel on a hot day maybe? The fuel in my Buell gets so hot riding directly over the twins you can feel and hear it boiling after a long run in 80-90 degree weather. I like to top off after such a run to pull the temp in the tank back down. It's scary but nothing blows so I could see cold fuel w...

Strange finding, after I filled up the tank.
I noticed on a few occasions after I filled to top the fuel tank, PCX seems to be more powerful, starts quicker and runs like a load off its shoulder.
Is it a fact? Why is it so?

Re: How do I patch a punctured rear tire? Is it safe?
My new PCX 200miles, got a nail in the middle, took to a local rickshaw repair shop, the man thrust a black thing into the tyre, done, wow, so simple.
2000 miles since, not a problem. all I want is, it does not blow like a bomb, leak is OK.

Re: Help: Replace Front Cover
You are in for quite an experience... each one of those has it's own breakdown. You will need a service manual. So you have 7 sections to study and carefully dismantle before you get to the front covers. The good news is before 2015 it was worse. Reads like this, note it includes removing the body ...
