Just go for it. For the price of sports exhaust from webike or ebay you'll get completely different bike. Keep old parts if you worried about reliability so you can always come back to old setup but you'll never look back. Big bore kit gives more smiles per gallon for sure.

You can't order the camshaft on it's own only in a kit. It starts Ok it's been around 5 -6 C overnight but I keep bike in the garage don't know how much difference it makes. I have done some research on Internet and went for the extreme braking in method. Done about 20 miles with wot akceletations and slow downs with closed throttle. Changed oil afterwards. Hope it will be OK now.

Sounds bit extreme. I remember breaking in rc nitro engine and there supposed to be one tank of fuel just used idling. Then getting it to the working temperature varying the throttle then cooling off. I know that taking it too easy while breaking in is not good for the engine and makes it loose perf...

Hi my yuminashi essential kit just arrived and I'm going to put it in over the weekend. Anyone has any advice on braking in procedure? Was thinking about taking it easy for 500 miles and changing oil after but will it be enough?

When I bought my bike second hand it had similar damage as yours I was thinking about buying panels on ebay and replacing them. Now I'm glad I didn't as bike fell over fro center stand in the car park in high winds this winter.

I've got 13g Dr pulley on my pcx 125. Acceleration is much better no difference to the top speed. Mpg almost the same.

Bollocks. My gasket was corroded and wasn't worth it to put it back after installing Dr pulley sliders. Just put some red silicone gasket and it works a treat. It's 125 tiny engine how much heat does it produce?

I have recently changed stock weights for 13g Dr pulley on my pcx 125. Acceleration is much better mpg almost the same but didn't get any top speed improvement. I get 65 mph on the speedo with new bando belt.
