Re: Oxford heated grips appears not properly installed
I think it's the wire from the heated grips stopping it from going all the way back. Open the throttle full and some more and see if the grip slides on the tube. If it does add some glue and adjust the throttle cable to suit.

I've ordered a breaker bar and will try and make a different style variator holder - one with bolts in a circle that lock into the finns rather than the two holes. Searching google for this issue, someone said occasionally the nut is loctited on (hope not, had real problems getting my barr end bolt...

Not sure I really understand the problem. Is the heated grip moving on the throttle tube, if so you need some adhesive to prevent this.

Agree with the JIS driver but if you can't get one, file 1mm off the tip of a Phillips driver, it will sit better.

Re: Oxford hot grips and Tucano muffs.
I have found that a set of left-hand drill bits are a useful addition to the tool kit. Often the heat generated while drilling will free the stuck bolt. Much better on smaller size bolts.

I notice some of the brake parts specified by Honda in the parts list are Nissin too, but it seems the Nissin brand is not usually specified for the pads themselves. Anyone know if Honda usually supply Nissin pads out of the factory or their...
