When I bought the PCX the dealer did not even mention that Honda makes a different windscreen. Is it worthwhile, and what does exorbitant cost mean? I agree on the cost of the Honda tall windscreen, but I disagree about its performance. What is it you don't like about it?

I consider a real windscreen to be a piece of safety equipment. Because of that, I'd only install one made from polycarbonate (Lexan). That limited my choices to either National Cycle's or Honda's tall screen. My guess is that Honda is probably the only company doing any airflow testing or modeling....

Retry, your not alone in your experience. I have a 2013 150 PCX, now up to 51,000km or about 30,000miles. I find the need to top up my oil to the sum of about 250ml every 1000km. Or 50ml per fil up roughly. I recognize my riding habbits have contributed to the wear, but figure since I just love rid...

I guess it depends on how much it would bother you to see the scars every time you ride? If you use a light touch you might get the front scrapes acceptable, but the footpeg area is going to be more difficult to make pretty again. Congratulations on both the new PCX and the SH-150i. The SH-150i was the scoot I wanted when I went shopping (2015), but the only new ones still available were priced about 50% higher than the PCX. Where would I and How would I fasten this to my scoots tail! (No tailbox on mine). Maybe you could replace the rear reflector with the LED? That's what I did here .
