I'm with Bash on this one -- ATGATT.
This is my first bike, so I'm essentially also waiting for my first laydown!

Re: Airhawk products
Fang, I'm copying my post from another thread - forgot this one was about cushions too! "If I haven't recommended this in the thread already, let me do so now: http://amzn.com/B006ZRC5IC This is a gel seat with a neoprene cover (he has a sheepskin-covered one as well). Fits right up against the...

Re: Humpless Seat from Powered byPCX
If I haven't recommended this in the thread already, let me do so now: http://amzn.com/B006ZRC5IC This is a gel seat with a neoprene cover (he has a sheepskin-covered one as well). Fits right up against the hump, but I just removed the hump and will be placing this over the holes instead. I found it...

Re: PCX Radio
Yeah, I use a Sena SMH-10 BT headset (which I love) but the bass leaves A LOT to be desired, and I'm always worried I'm going to blow out the speakers by turning up the volume to listen to music over the engine and traffic noise. When I go on motorcycle rides, I usually try to partner with a guy who...

Re: Battery drain
Thanks for the advice guys, but this stuff's above my pay grade, and as Ali said, if I'm unsure of what I'm doing, let the dealer do it.
I am *very* unsure of what I'm doing!

Re: Advice please on purchase and warranty- 2013 PCX 150
That's a grand off what I paid for the 150 last year when it was a new 2013 model... sounds like a pretty good deal to me! I almost bought a Volvo station wagon that had been won in a raffle. Took it from the dealer to my mechanic, and he told me not to buy it because it had a lot of wear for the lo...

Starting to think exactly that, maybe they did something when they installed the USB power port. Thanks Ali!

Re: Battery drain
Thanks you, but it was the 4 days without use after an hour-long ride and a mostly-dead battery that concerns me. Shouldn't an hour have been enough on a battery that had no issue turning over the engine for said ride? If it was so drained that an hour's ride didn't charge it enough, then I shouldn'...

Re: Battery drain
Got word back from my dealer on the battery issue: "The battery control test take 3 days. We need to measure the battery voltage and then let it sit and then measure the voltage again to see what it drops down to. Also we need to check for a draw cold then hot and the same thing for the chargin...

Re: Battery drain
Just under a year. And it wasn't dead, it just didn't have enough juice to turn over the engine. I went about a month earlier in the spring without riding or trickle-charging it, and it was dead then too.

No. I use a Sena bluetooth headset when I ride. Earplugs would defeat the purpose.you you wrote:Have you tried earplugs?

Re: Battery drain
Thanks Mel! I really don't have an issue with keeping it on the trickle charger whenever I'm not riding, as I hung the charger from the garage ceiling, and I pulled the charging cable through the battery door (with a little help from my Dremel), so it's easy enough to connect and keep the door in pl...

Re: PCX Givi Windscreen D322ST
Glad it worked for you. That one created horrible wind noise for me, so I swapped it for the tall screen for cooler weather riding.

I'll check the terminals, thanks for the advice!
Otherwise, if they're good, I'll give the dealer a call.

Re: Battery drain
Nope, no keys left in the ignition, ever (12 y/o son with a habit of leaving the garage door open), and nothing connected that would draw power while off. I was thinking maybe because it had just come out of service, that the battery wasn't fully charged, but I did an hour-long ride home, which I'd ...

Battery drain
Last Friday I picked up my 150 at the dealer for the 2,500 mile service. No problem riding it home from a cold start, but hadn't started it up until this morning, and it wouldn't turn over. Is it possible that the battery would drain that quickly, after 4 days without use? Over the winter I use a tr...

Re: Airhawk products
I have the DS. The fit on the seat is quite good, actually. I just didn't like the feeling of the air moving around when I adjusted my seating position. You cannot have it fully inflated – the goal is to let out as much air as possible that still keeps you elevated off the seat itself. Right now, I'...

Hey Z-Mac, there's a thread here you may want to check out: http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2837&start=20 I don't think I'll keep mine, because as you shift your weight on the bladder, the air moves to the other side. I prefer a gel cushion that sinks where there's more weight wi...

Re: LOOKING FOR BRIGHT LED LIGHTS FOR DRIVING LIGHTS
Agreed! I'm more likely to electrocute myself, so if this is a simple wiring exercise, I'd love to know how it's done so I can install them on my own!
