Re: Left over, new, 2014 Forzas availiable
I am trying to get a rear Michelin CityGrip from Big Top in Chilliwack, it has to come from Quebec and is taking a long time. Something to do with the mail strike & couriers overloaded. I ran out of rubber and I am parked until I get a new rear. I like Carter but it takes forever to get there f...

Re: Pokemon Go
Fun to an extent (between friends sharing a game) but riciculous to the level many are people going to - chasing them all over town and some are only in certain parts of the world (travel, fuel usage, etc all gone up as people are travelling across town to catch some that are reported to be in cert...

Re: Accident report
Sad to hear, thoughts and prayers to the rider.
No word on whether the rider was wearing gear or not. Full gear only reduces the severity of injury or risk of death but does not eliminate it.

Re: Pokemon Go
A quarter of my friends and coworkers have gotten into this game. It's pretty fun, but at the local training centre you can tell the casual oh 5 minutes here and there catching Pokemon guys from the devoted 16 hours a day guys. So far I've discovered a Cenotaph, World Unity Sculpture, and a Saturday...

Re: Which bluetooth communicator?
My Sena SMH10 has performed flawlessly since I purchased it used almost two years ago. I've had some two hour commutes in bad traffic and pissing rain and it was bearable because 1. My gear was keeping me dry and 2. I had some tunes There was one day I forgot to close the charger cover and some wate...

Re: Holy cupping Batman!
At 7 K miles on the front tire it is about time to change it anyway. Most front tires don't make it much beyond 7,000 miles before needing replacement. Rear tires will go twice that distance. Not in my experience. It's usually the other way around. On my Kymco, the first front tire lasted nearly 20...

Re: Holy cupping Batman!
I wish the tires on my Vino 125 lasted 7,000+ miles. My Michelin tires at 2,500 miles are at the wear bar.
Is the cupping noisy? How's the handling with the seriously squared tires?

Re: Just bought a V-Strom 650 for long distance rides
Very nice! I demoed a V-Strom 650 for the very first time over the weekend. Overlooking the fact that it's obvious that it's a heavy and top heavy bike in corners, it does everything well and felt very comfortable in it. I'm smitten and definitely leaning towards that ADV style bike. I'd like to try...

Re: Wet weather gear
My textile gear is waterproof and keeps me dry enough below 50mph. Above 50mph, the wind drives the rain up between my jacket and pants, and also my pants and boots.

Re: Stuck on a Ice ridge
Wow there's still ice up there? I didn't know Hwy 3 got that high, that's higher than the Coquihalla summit.
This highway is definitely on the list of highways to ride as soon as I get a highway capable bike.

Re: My PCX in Jeopardy
The cb300f is really cool too if you're into the naked sport bike look. More upright riding position and lower seat at 28" I believe. It's marketed towards beginners however, the USA model does not have abs. The Canadians get it with abs and they get it in white. Drive up to Canada, get...

Re: My PCX in Jeopardy
Are you surprised? What we do will shape what our kids do with our observation. The riding should have quit a decade and a half ago if you didn't want your kids to become riders themselves. I test rode a CBR 250R yesterday and it had plenty of power for the freeway, yet it was super easy to ride. M...

Excuse my ignorance...while I am not geographically impaired, I guess I need to brush up on the scooter offerings from my neighbor to the south...and probably get jealous... -100 Internet points for me...and I felt the burn.
