Re: Immobiliser PCX125
I might be overly optimistic, but I don't live in a very infested area regarding bike theft, so I've never actually implemented one, but checked how could I do so if I ever wanted to. After removing the rear body panels, on the right side of the bike there is a single wire connector attached to the ...

Re: Ignition stuck - Without visible reason
So I though there could be some safety engaged on some bolt, driven by a GND. As I am about to put everything back, I'm having growing concerns that this could not be the case. Ignition lock is in OFF mode, stuck with the feeling like the key is not from that vehicle (it is...). So please, If anyon...

Affirmative. I mean to pinch the small diameter tube going from the radiator cap to the reserve tank.qcpcx wrote:To confirm, you mean pinch the connection tube that goes to the radiator from the reserve tank?

Re: filled coolant entirely from reserve tank, how to bleed
Thanks. To get back to the point where I am topping off the radiator only, how would you proceed with draining the reserve tank? My first impression is to simply open the radiator cap entirely and catch what I can below the scoot. Then, follow the topping off and bleeding instructions as I should h...

Re: Instrument panel lights not working
Im hundred percent sure the LEDs on the speedo are surface mounted, not through hole.
Never measured voltage on them, but I'm pretty sure they don't get 12V across their terminals.

Re: k2apache's 6.0 2013 PCX Mod thread
Hey Apache. I'm not having any luck searching the forums for YSS fork valves. Are they hard to install? Are they available in North America? Thanks! Yeah, not easy to find. A seller from the UK has them, he's on ebay in the states too though. They are also known as PDD valves. Installation is easy ...

Re: Interesting...
Hmmm. Sounds like fake to me. I don't want to get into it, but a zirconium O2 sensor is an acive element which is working as a seriously non-linear voltage generator based on exhaust oxygen content. It's signal cannot be altered properly with a passive element, what has no microcontroller inside. Th...

Re: How-To: Completely Dismantle A PCX
Back in time I've found a real time video with some asian guy completely removing body panels in about 15 minutes. It helped me more than the service manual (which is indispensabe otherwise). The rear cover behind the seat and the centre console panel beneath the steering was (is) my boo-boo out of ...

Re: EFI and Non Ethanol Gas
Since I know nothing about EFI, just curious if there is something set within the programming for specific gas types which would affect how the engine burns the gas. Not that I am complaining about 83 miles to the gallon... I want to use ethanol free gas because it can deteriorate fuel lines and ot...

Re: Where was you PCX made
The Thai factory is still alive and kicking, but Honda has built new factories instead of increasing capaciy at existing sites. The hybrid is built in Indonesia mainly because that is a Huge market, what also has orbital protective customs. Thai operations are still churning out tons of bikes, like ...

Will keep fingers crossed so you get the best out of it.
Re: 1st pic
Great setting - would give a bit of filler flash to the foreground so the lines of the bike would show up too.
Very nice.

Yup, it seems that ABS is standard on the Italian (European) model, and the CBS is gone - only 2 pot calipers at the front.

Re: 110/80-14 or 100/80-14 for front tire?
Eiron, the speedo (& odo) pickup is in the gearbox, not the front wheel. So as long the rear wheel diameter is not changed, changing the front wheel will not change the readings.
