Appreciated, just wore out my flimsy Honda cover and have been looking for a quality replacement.

3600 kms on mine and now it is buzzing a lot as well around 4000-5000 rpm. Was smooth as butter up until recently.

Don't be shy with the horn if you think people don't see you, misjudge your speed or are getting too close.
Glad to hear your lady is recovering.

Mine maxes out at about 35%. If that needle was near the redline on mine I'd dump it off at the dealer and tell them to contact me when they had it sorted out.

Pretty easy to paint the plastics if you want a custom color.

Best bet is to go sit on both of them and see which you like better. Other factor is how much hwy driving you will be doing. I went with the Forza because of the extra power, you come to the end of a 150 pretty quickly and it leaves me wanting more.

I always put foam grips over the stock. I buy them from a sporting goods store. The are foam bicycle grips. A little dish soap smeared inside lets you slip them over the stock grips. I had an 05 Ruckus 50 and the rear suspension was the first thing I changed out. Two Honda scoots, 2 rear shock changes because the stock was inadequate.

Seems like the rear suspension is one way Honda might cut costs on these units. Not a biggie, all manufacturers do it in one way or another.

I just got the same shocks, need to put them on this week. Anything out of the ordinary for the install or just a straight forward bolt them on? Do I have to take off any plastics or can I remove them completely from the outside of the scoot?

I ended up ordering these guys. They showed up and I'll get them installed one night this week after work. I post some pics and impressions after riding on them for a couple of days.

Thanks for the answers. I ride year round and am in wet conditions a lot. I also find the stock tyres are often "searching for grip" as you said, scares me. Now I have to find a way to get those tyres here to Canada without paying a small fortune for them in shipping.

Would love some more feedback on the tire. How much riding have you done on the stock tyre and how do you compare it to the new one? Must make the ride a lot rougher in general. Top speed is the same?

No trouble fitting it on the stock rim?

Have you traveled at highway speeds with it?

One of my first observations about the Forza is how smooth it is. If yours sounds like a bag of nails I would take it back to the dealer ASAP.

I've been on 2 wheels year round for about a decade now (haven't owned a car in ages) so it's not an experience issue. I have just never had such bad traction in wet conditions before. I find the stock tires really, really bad. Of course the crack sealant is death to be on but on all my other rides ...
