both of my scooters

Still have both scooters... will likely have both for awhile. resale value for a 50CC stinks due to the flood of cheap Chinese mopeds. Both have some advantages. Piaggio, Simplicity, nice large glove compartment, sports car like suspension tuning, feels more compact even though its not really much s...

Re: 2013 PCX service manual available here

Well, it is a copy. It's a good copy though, front and back pages, the binding might actually be more durable than factory, color wire diagrams. The seller is misleading people though by not stating that its a copy.

also related to oil filter screens.

I noticed there are two part numbers for the oil filter screen for my 2013 PCX. I just ordered both of them to see if there is a difference, one is 4.90 the other is 2.90.

Re: Stainless mesh filter.

Yeah, probably wouldn't be a good idea with the filter screen likely being on the oil pump inlet side, not in the pressure circuit.

Re: Headlight Burned Out & Needs Replacement

I just checked on my 150. you just reach up from underneath above the front tire and you can reach the bulbs. Didn't take the bulbs out though, so, I dont know about how they come out. hopefully they are the twist in and, twist out type.

Re: Magnetic oil drain plug

I did a first oil change at 150 miles. There was a lot of metal in the gear box as expected. The engine oil was also metallic but not as much. It was fun placing the magnetic drain plug in the oil drained and watching the metal move across the drain pan to the magnet. Do not have a picture of the d...

I know the answer to that now. Lower "drain plug" is a bolt.
