Why didn't the Puig work for you at 6' ?
I'm the same height and have the same screen inbound. Now I'm a little worried.

Re: Honda’s Bulldog citybike concept is a bruiser with stora
It's ugly and pointless.
That said, if they build it and sell it in the states I'll buy one.
I have a thing for "interesting" Hondas.

Re: A fond farewell to the PCX
I already owned a Triumph Thruxton when I bought my PCX.
If you can afford to keep it, I wouldn't sell it.
It's nice to have options.

Re: New GoPro
My wife bought me a GoPro! What are some interesting things to do with it on the scoot? I do plan to record all of my services; is that better suited to a normal camera? The GoPro has the distinct advantage of being head-mountable during service. Service myself. Genius! mtheall just gave me a great...

I ordered my seat from MP Motor. There was an issue in communicating what I wanted the seat to look like, despite it appearing like they understood.
If you order the seat you linked from Powerbypcx I'm sure you'll get what you are expecting. I haven't seen anyone have an issue with that vendor.

Re: Seats from Thailand
I got the new seat cover in today. It took maybe 5 minutes to unbolt the "hump" and put on the cover. It stretches over the stock cover, has a Velcro strap underneath and a drawstring. It could not be any easier to install. It is actually quite nice. I may leave the risers alone, they don...

PS: For the helmet, once you set it in the bottom of the seat, try sliding the helmet toward the rear of the bike, THEN close the seat. Makes a difference. Not if it's an XL. My Large Arai helmet only barely fits in there, and I broke one of the vent open/close valves on the helmet too. When closed...

Re: Redlights and small scooters
In Wisconsin motorcycles may cross against a red light if you have waited at least 45 seconds, the signal is car activated and you may proceed safely. I know other states have similar laws. Check your motorcycle laws. Have you found this in writing anywhere? I'd love to keep a copy of that statute ...

Re: Seats from Thailand
Here we have the phrase "shit happens".
I'll move on and address the seat issue with another vendor. It's disappointing but there's nothing to be done about it at this point.

Re: Brought my new (leftover 2013) black PCX 150 home tonigh
Hey MKE PCX, welcome! I too picked up a new 2013 PCX from a dealer in Waukesha a week ago. Online they advertised three units-- two red, one black. And priced for a song. When I got there I asked, and got the reply "we have one left". I was *so* happy it was red, hahahaha. (maybe that bla...

Re: K&N Air filter Installation and Performance Analysis
I'd like to chime in here with my opinion on air filters. Every time I see filters being discussed on forums people throw around the word airflow and talk about increased air volume. What I rarely, if ever, see mentioned are velocity and pressure. The reason that people are experiencing a loss in pe...

After the last time I talked to them, I'm confident it would work. They did move the brace back.
Barring unexpected head trauma, I don't foresee my opinion on the buttons changing.

Why not just buy a second and leave it complete until the first dies? If you have mods you could always switch them over to the new bike.

Thought this was going to be a thread talking about crotch room in riding pants.
I'm not sure if I'm disappointed or relieved that its not. I think I could have used a good laugh this morning.

It's funny, I don't reach for the nonexistent clutch while taking off, it's only when I stop. I think it's the engine noise lessening along with my speed that makes me feel like its going to clunk out. I'll get used to it quickly as I plan to commute on the PCX as much as possible. I think I'm going...

Well, they were unable to stop the shipment. They apologized for the mistake which I appreciate but I am still out $165. Worse yet, I still need a custom seat. I know they could do it for more and I'm not sure who else could. I just can't bring myself to send them more money. Anybody like buttons? T...

Re: Brought my new (leftover 2013) black PCX 150 home tonigh
The horn you linked sure looks interesting but it definitely won't be plug and play. I also question whether the PCX's electrical system can handle it The screaming banshee controller has 5 wires. From their installation instructions, here is where they go. Red Wire – connect this to the (+) of your...
