Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Just go for it. For the price of sports exhaust from webike or ebay you'll get completely different bike. Keep old parts if you worried about reliability so you can always come back to old setup but you'll never look back. Big bore kit gives more smiles per gallon for sure.

Re: Yuminashi 164
Little update on my braking in. I've done about 110 miles (one tank of fuel) after the first 20 odd mile oil change when I drained black and glittery stuff. I've put 10w30 castrol bike oil and it still looks fresh. I think that ride like you stole it braking in method is working. Gonna change valve ...

Re: Yuminashi 164
You can't order the camshaft on it's own only in a kit. It starts Ok it's been around 5 -6 C overnight but I keep bike in the garage don't know how much difference it makes. Its idling Ok maybe bit nervous with sport camshaft but I've set valve clearance to stock and there is clicking noise so maybe...

Re: Yuminashi 164
Everything was in the kit. 31mm throttle body bigger injector, manifold' camshaft, double, springs piston and cylinder. All for £ 300 that's price of sports exhaust from webike. Just bought some generic concentrate antifreeze and mixed with water 1 to 2 proportion. It's blue in colour original was g...

Re: Yuminashi 164
Yeah chainsaw. That's the one I've read. Makes sense to me. I had a good look at my old 125 piston and it has carbon deposits below two top rings which indicates that they weren't broken in completely as it was explained in the article. For now I'm just enjoying my big bore upgrade and I love the gr...

Re: Yuminashi 164
I have done some research on Internet and went for the extreme braking in method. Done about 20 miles with wot akceletations and slow downs with closed throttle. Changed oil afterwards. Hope it will be OK now.

Re: Yuminashi 164
Sounds bit extreme. I remember breaking in rc nitro engine and there supposed to be one tank of fuel just used idling. Then getting it to the working temperature varying the throttle then cooling off. I know that taking it too easy while breaking in is not good for the engine and makes it loose perf...

Yuminashi 164
Hi my yuminashi essential kit just arrived and I'm going to put it in over the weekend. Anyone has any advice on braking in procedure? Was thinking about taking it easy for 500 miles and changing oil after but will it be enough?
Cheers

Re: I dropped my '15 PCX
When I bought my bike second hand it had similar damage as yours I was thinking about buying panels on ebay and replacing them. Now I'm glad I didn't as bike fell over fro center stand in the car park in high winds this winter.

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Hi I'm thinking about changing final gear to 44t sprocket from yuminashi. It says on their website that 45/15 set requires longer speed sensor but nothing about 44t sprocket. Anyone has any experience with that? Well no one responded so I bought it anyway. My findings are: -sprocket is same diamete...

Re: transmission cover gasket ?
Bollocks. My gasket was corroded and wasn't worth it to put it back after installing Dr pulley sliders. Just put some red silicone gasket and it works a treat. It's 125 tiny engine how much heat does it produce?

Pcx tyre change
Hi just bought set of heidenau k66 tyres for my pcx in stock size. My attempt to change them was successful and saved me £10 per wheel. Would encourage everyone with basic diy skills to do the same. All you need is some window cleaner to lubricate the rim and tyres, rim protectors from eBay for £3 a...

Re: Lubrication between the Boss and the Driveshaft...
I have recently changed stock weights for 13g Dr pulley on my pcx 125. Acceleration is much better mpg almost the same but didn't get any top speed improvement. I get 65 mph on the speedo with new bando belt.
