Re: Recall on 2014 FORZA
18,000 miles on my Forza without a single issue. Did the fuel pump recall after going 13,000 miles with no issue. Got the brake recall notice but still on original brakes without any issues. Pretty happy with the Forza 300 ABS. Nothing out there yet I would trade for, certainly wouldn't go back to a...

Re: Opinions on Tyres for the Forza
I got 5400 miles on the original Scootsmart, 7500 miles on the 150/70-13 Metzeler Feelfree and on track to get another 7500 miles on the second Metzeler Feelfree.
I got just over 17,000 miles on the original front tire, put another OEM Scootsmart on the front.

Mine have lasted 17,000 miles so far.beegmouse wrote:
My complaint and warning is the specific row in the servicing table which says that they should only be inspected at 8000 miles when there is no way that they will last 16000 miles.

Re: Drive Belt Life (and death)
Just did the deed and ordered a Mitsuboshi from AustinPCX's Bikerzbits link, wonder how long it will take to arrive? The weather here is still mostly awful just now so not missing out on much. I ordered two more belts last Sunday evening and they arrived on Friday morning via DHL. Went ahead and in...

About 10 bucks to ship to Glasgow. Price is now down to $43 plus shipping. Took about 3 weeks to get to Texas.

Re: What Would You do?
Made in Texas dude , aren't you a bit exaggerating? 27500km and you are still on factory belt and front tire? I've replaced the front tire@18000km! The rear one twice (10000km & 24000km)! The belt@24000km as Honda recommends. And i'm doing 1500km per month (4/5 on the highway). Lecompte, if it ...

Re: What Would You do?
If the PCX isn't cutting it and you can afford the Forza, go for it. Sounds like a good deal, especially if has ABS. Prices are low because gas is cheap. I had my PCX for 2.5 years and only managed to put 3200 miles on it because it wasn't safe on the highways here in Texas. I've put 17,000 highway ...

Re: self healing tires...
I've been using Ride-On in my tires since I posted about it here in 2011, first on the PCX and now on the Forza. Works great, eliminates the need for wheel weights or balance beads. One application lasts the life of the tire. Never lose air pressure in my tires. Post subject: Re: Tire Sealant?PostPo...

14000 miles on my Forza. Haven't had a single issue. Took it in for the fuel pump recall couple weeks ago just for kicks.

I said no such thing. You are being very angry and offensive, perhaps a ban is in order?vamootsman wrote:When you look up D-bag in the dictionary, his picture is front and center. If you think that A hole speaks for anyone on the forum you need to get your meds udated.

Re: disrepecting the Donald
Trump - and I'm not convinced he's even a Republican, comes closer to being a real human being than all the other phony Democrat or Republican politicians out there. I know he made a lot of noise about Obama's birth certificate, but how conveniently the media forget it was the Clinton's who first br...

I'm on my second 150/70/13 Metzeler FeelFree. Put 7300 miles on the first one after only getting 5400 on the original Dunlop. Finally took my Forza in last Saturday for the fuel pump replacement.

I doubt you'll get your money's worth with an extended warranty but you might want to find a better service department.Walrus wrote:I appreciate the optimism, but my understanding is that the warranty is only for 1 year! My year is up, now what?

Re: Forza 300 - worried I bought a lemon!
Between the PCX and the Forza, the one I regret buying is the PCX. The PCX was a toy with limited usability. The Forza is a workhorse, over 13,000 miles in less than two years with no issues. My bike is part of the fuel pump recall, but I haven't had it in for replacement yet. I don't think there is...

I have had zero issues with mine so far, but if they want to give me a new fuel pump after 13,000 miles, I'll let them.

I received the fuel pump recall notice last December and will finally take it to the dealer next week. Over 13,000 miles on it so far.
