Re: Forza 300 16,000 main dealer mile service cost

I'm in Medway towns, Kent The Honda dealership is 21st Moto at Swanley, who I used when I had the Swing. Honda Aylesford quoted even more! I do use an independent (Motoworks in Newington) on my Bandit and he is a really good mechanic who charges sensible money and does a great job - my dilemma is if...

Re: Forza 300 16,000 main dealer mile service cost

GN2 posted "Sounds like an awful lot of money to me. I paid less than £350 for the same work." Yes, my thoughts exactly buddy - Good old South-East of England rip-off prices where they charge the customer £66 per hour plus vat and pay the apprentice who does the work £140 for a 37 hour wee...

Forza 300 16,000 main dealer mile service cost

Hi all, My Sept-14 Forza is coming up for it's 2 year service by which time it will have done 14,300 miles (8,300 since the previous service) I contacted a local Honda main dealer to get a price for this service and requested that, as well as the belt, rollers & usual service parts that they rep...

Re: Insurance claim or not?

Whilst you would have to pay the excess on your insurance policy I think this accident would go down as a non-fault. It's almost what Insurers call an 'Act of God'

Re: Bike + Deer = TRASHED

Glad you're OK Road-Dog, as peep's have said it could have been much worse - are you full comprehensively insured? If so I would request a hire bike - the cost of this will make your insurer pull there finger out and get repairs underway. If it is a write-off try buying it back and 'doing it yoursel...

Re: Newbe

Welcome & I hope you enjoy your new scooter, what was you riding before? I too have the Forza 300 (64 plate) in white with the high screen & top-box but opted for handlebar-muffs rather than heated grips but I'm from the congested South-East of England which brings me to another point - I un...

Re: Forza 300 - worried I bought a lemon!

Don't want to tempt fate but my '64 reg Forza 300 has performed faultlessly since I bought it at 6 months old with 2,000 miles last March. It's now done 12,700 miles, was serviced at 6,100 miles (when 1 year old) had a new rear tyre at 7,500 miles and that's it. My commute is 25 miles each way on Mo...

Forza Service/Oil change

Hi folks, I purchased my 2014 Forza last March and sent it in for it's annual service in August 15 at 6,061 miles, I expect that by August this year I'd have covered between 15,500 & 16,000 miles and my question to you is: Should I do an interim oil-change at 14,000 miles or wait another 6 weeks...
