Re: PCX 150 v. Elite 110
I didn't find an elite 110 forum, but I forgot about http://www.motorscooterguide.net/ That's were i did my research and decided to buy an elite. It's a very informative site about lots of scooters. I wasn't able to find one either. I sent a PM to MaddieDog last night asking if we could have a new ...

Re: ALMOST got to ride a SH 150i
First let me say, WHAT??? How did one of those make it to the United States? I hear the new ones are great. I think I read that they now have the same engine as the PCX. Next, I wonder how hard it would be to get parts for it. I haven't seen them advertised on the normal websites that I get my PCX ...

Re: PCX 150 v. Elite 110
So I started reading the owner's manual and learned two things: 1) My Elite came with a "tool kit" - I found it hiding in the underseat storage but all it has is a screwdriver - LOL. I can't remember if my PCX came with a tool kit or not? 2) The Elite has a rear brake lock activated by a t...

Re: PCX 150 v. Elite 110
Heh, Congrats on the new Scooter! Itsa "Fun One" Greg! What'sir/her name? I somehow knew you'd miss a "townie" bike. When you sold your PCX I thought....hmmm. Twist n Go, how could you not miss that? The (U.S.) Elite has been a fav among scooterist's since what...the mid 1980's?...

Re: PCX 150 v. Elite 110
I found the vid I made where I stuffed a 24 pack of Dasani into my old PCX 150
Both the PCX and Elite 110 can hold a LOT of water!

Re: PCX 150 v. Elite 110
Excellent deal! I came from a Honda elite 110 sold it for $1700 n bought a 2016 pcx for $2200. I just got my PCX in July so I’m not as used to it yet. But I’ve noticed that the elite being 40lbs lighter it was much easier to manhandle the scoot vs the pcx. The underseat storage is definitely larger...

Re: i committed a sin
Interesting. I thought one of Japan's biggest competitors were the Chinese. I also thought that Honda had multiple factories in Thailand and Vietnam that produced most of their bikes. https://global.honda/products/motorcycles.html This JustGottaScoot article about the Elite 110 talks about its Chin...

Re: PCX 150 v. Elite 110
Wow, that looks like a great little scooter! Congrats!! I'm slightly familiar with the older Elites, but knew nothing about this single-year (US) model. Looking thru Honda's other models from that time, it looks like they made a smaller version of the SH-150. I like the step-thru/Euro styling and l...

Re: PCX 150 v. Elite 110
Congrats on your new (and like new) Honda Elite 110. Since you've got your VFR for the longer rides I think you'll have absolutely no regrets taking that for jaunts around town or run errands. Excellent shape. I think it was a fair deal. KBB excellent condition on a trade for that would be around $...

PCX 150 v. Elite 110
Hey all, ever since I traded in my PCX 150 for my VFR800 I've missed having a scooter to run errands on and blast around my subdivision on. So I finally decided to add a scooter to my garage to compliment my VFR. I thought about getting another PCX but I decided to get something a little different. ...

Re: New 2019 Honda PCX 150 owner
Very nice! Did you get ABS or non-ABS? I've only found non-ABS models in my area - seems like the ABS is being delayed a bit.

...By the Way....Hi GREG, welcome back to the fold! PCX FEVER again? 8) Thanks WN! Yes, I've got the fever! :D I bought a convertible about 9 months ago and have barely ridden my Interceptor since - it's gathering a lot of dust because I'd rather drive my vert with the wind in my hair, sound system...

Re: 2019 PCX150 - USA model
Larger :D 100/80-14 F 120/17-14 R Shouldn't that give a higher top speed as more ground covered for each rev (queue the 'it's not as simple as that replies') :) You're right, it's not so simple to say the new tires are larger. Old rear tire: 100/90-14, 21.1" diameter, 66.2" circumf., 956 ...

Re: 2019 PCX150 - USA model
Whoa! I just watched four top speed vids on YT of the redesigned PCX150 and the two slowest vids showed indicated speeds of 118 and 120 kph (73.3 and 74.6 mph) which is a nice improvement over my old 2015 model. The ability to do a solid 70 mph on occasion would be perfect for a scooter of this size...

Re: 2019 PCX150 - USA model
So their price has gone from $3499 to $3699 but they haven't added anything new? It costs extra for ABS on the front brake only, and you still have to use your key to start it. I think I'll keep my 2013 model. Yes the improvements since your 2013 are arguably just incremental and cosmetic - so if y...
