I checked out that web page. I have also been thinking about getting that v47 top case. I have one question though. On the rack I see there is a sr1123 and a sr1123mm any idea what the difference is?

Re: When and how do you put your foot down at a stoplight?
I can balance the bike for several seconds after a stop. Most times at a stop sign, if there are no other cars, I stop then take off and never have to put my foot down. If I do it is always after a complete stop.

Re: Winterizing Forza NSS300
Battery tenders are computerized to watch the battery voltage. They are safe to leave on all winter because they only put current into the battery if it gets low. A trickle charger puts a small but constant current into the battery and will over charge it if left on all winter. I started to use a ba...

Re: Arguments For and Against Continuous float/maintenance C
My experience is that before I started the use of the battery tender I had to replace my battery almost every spring. If I use a trickle charger I always ended up over charging the battery and boiled it dry, Since I started with the battery tender 5 years ago I have never replaced a single battery. ...

Re: What is the Brake Lock?
One thing to remember. After an adjustment always turn on the key and squeeze the lever to see if the brake light comes on. When you tighten the brake adjustment the lever may not squeeze far enough to turn on the brake light so you may also have to adjust the switch.

Re: I lost the Nut for the Screw to hold in the battery!
It has happened to me also. Now when I remove the battery I put the screw back in as soon as I unhook the cable so when I pull the battery out there is no chance for the nut to go flying off somewhere.

It might be a bad bearing. Better let the shop hear the noise.

Re: What are your positives/negatives about the Forza?
I just went over the 600 mile mark on my Forza. This is my feelings so far. The extra weight, compared to the pcx, makes it feel like it is glued to the road. Cross winds and the gust from big trucks have no effect at all. So far my gas mileage has ran from 67 to 72 mpg. In hopes that goes up a litt...

Re: On Board Cameras
The sony cam setup looks nice but I would not recommend putting the strap around your neck. If you were to have an accident and the camera got caught on something as you flew through the air, Ouch !!!

I was told at the local Honda shop, here in Indiana, that Honda has not included tool kits for many years.

Re: NSS300 Fuel Pump problems
Some of you have wondered if this problem is also in The USA. I ordered a 2014 Forza last week. It was supposed to be ready for pickup today. When I got there the sales rep told me that the fuel pump was bad right out of the crate. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy about taking delivery on a new sco...

I put all my important papers in a ziplock bag and used velcro strips to attach it to the underside of the seat pan. They stay out of the way but are handy if I need them.

My new Forza is on it's way
I paid a visit to the local Honda shop last week, just to look around of course. Before I left they had sold me on a new 2014 Forza with ABS. After chatting they lowered the out the door price $900. I think because it is so late in the season. It is still crated up so I have to wait a week for them ...

Re: rim stickers...
A lot of people, including me, would love to put reflective tape on the rims. I am surprised that some enterprising person or business hasn't came out with pre-curved tape. Maybe even a complete circle to match your rim size. You pull off the wheel and just press it on quick and easy.

Re: Tall windscreens
I have a PCX150 and put the tall Givi on it. I am 6' even and the wind blows a couple inches over my head so it should be ok for you. I also have a flip up face shield on my helmet. The air is so still behind the wind screen I removed the flip up and there is no wind noise anymore. I can actually li...

There is no clutch to disengage. It sounds like the idle speed may be set too high. Take it back to the dealer for a check. They should do that for free.
