Re: Top case for 13 PCX150

I just picked up a Shad 29 liter for my new '16, but as far as I can tell, the only difference in terms of fitment is you will have to drill out the holes on your plastic body panel. The quality of the Shad is quite good, in my opinion, equal to the Givis I have played with in various motorcycle sto...

Re: New PCX 150 ordered UK

John, Can't wait to see the graphics on there. I was staring at your scoot, and something did not jibe with me (nothing wrong on either end) but I think you have a different color from the North American Grey/Silver. Mine is a definite matte finish and a little darker than yours, but I definitely do...

Dawn Patrol

On my commute today, I just had to pull over and grab this shot...really wish I had my DSLR on me, but the phone pic will have to do...

Enjoy!

Re: New PCX 150 ordered UK

John,

Love the windscreen! The tinting really sets off the rest of the bike...

What color(s) are you thinking for the rim tapes? Going with white, or throw a splash of color into the mix?

Either way, you are looking great there!

Re: Steel Gray saying "Hey!"

I should pick up a set of those, had them on more cars that I can count..makes perfect sense. Aesthetically? I prefer the stock mirrors...just an opinion (and that's why we have different flavors of ice cream...). Thanks for the hat props, I turn it around when I am riding...(No, I'm an ATGATT guy, ...

Re: Steel Gray saying "Hey!"

Well, I got the extenders attached to the Honda relocators from the tall windshield - complicated enough? In the end, I am happy with the placement, I can see everything that I need to see and there is no way that the mirrors will ever touch the windscreen - unless something else goes catastrophical...

Been there, done that Glen, your thread is required reading for the new PCX owner who is thinking about getting anything at all (except a topcase...hehehe).

Re: Steel Gray saying "Hey!"

Well, last night was a mini adventure getting everything on the bike. First off: Shame on your Honda, no instructions in the Windshield box? No sweat, I can handle this...what the hell are all these extra parts...uh...let's look at the top case. Second off: Shame on me, when the top case did not see...

Re: Honking mad!

I so feel you there. Despite being a HUGE button, I can't seem to get my thumb to it when anticipating trouble (granted, I've been at the PCX thing for all of a week).

Anyone out there mod their horn to a foot pedal?

Wait, that might be a bad idea...

Re: Is PCX 150 the ultimate transportation for zombie apocal

I don't want to be the voice of dissension, but the Ruckus (big or small) really nails that post-apocalyptic scooter look. Never heard one of those running, however, and the PCX gets MAJOR stealth points in terms of decibles. PCX belongs in Neo Tokyo...where did I put that Canon sticker...not that I...

Re: New Owner of a 2015 PCX 150 White

Alock, I'm in the same boat as you...same size, and same feeling about carbs (not the ones you eat - love those). My height is the same and I might have five pounds on you, but the PCX just fit...Yammie Smacks? Not so much. Had mine six days and loving every minute of it. Enjoy that easy start, and ...

Guess I know what I am doing tonight.

Thanks for the warm welcomes all: Homie: Billy is more than welcome to try them out, but only if he can handle two hoops at once! Jge64: No can do - I've always been a sucker for back light, and I always will be. Next time, I'll take the good camera (not phone) that can better deal with the light......

Steel Gray saying "Hey!"

Hello all, Last week, I was so darned sure that I was getting a Forza, my first post was on that side of the house. Well, some things can change in a week...so here I am. I took delivery this last Saturday, in between two kids sports events, then let it sit in the garage over night. Sunday, I put on...

Re: Might Have to Say "Goodbye" to My Buddy

Well, serves me right to post this in the Forza forum... I just shook hands on a 2016 PCX, the grey one from the pictures. The decision was not an easy one, but when it all came down to it, the PCX fits my current needs much better than the Forza. Sure, I would love to do some extended touring one d...

Re: Might Have to Say "Goodbye" to My Buddy

Test Rode the PCX and Forza tonight... Let me tell you what, for bikes that are so similar, they are really different (I'll try to make some sense of that last comment). Rode the Forza first: Felt like it was 18 inches high and nine feet long. At almost double the weight of the only other bike I hav...

Re: Might Have to Say "Goodbye" to My Buddy

Just back from my jaunt up north. Impressions per bike: PCX: Same as it has alwasy been, a benchmark in 150cc scootering - there if I need her. Forza: Fits me better than I remember - am I shrinking? Weight seems the same on the side stand as the PCX...incorrect, but just an observation. Downtown: L...
