Re: New Hybrid Honda PCX coming?
Electric motorcycles are torque machines and quiet. I rode an electric bicycle a few times and even that amazed me on how much power it had. . .while it had power. Like this one :D (the "218" bit comes from it's top speed - in MPH!) nYPYN1Qoryg Here's a longer/better video 4c_qXbS9L...

Re: 2016 Honda Forza 300 Starter Motor won't Start
Good news, the Honda Forza started this afternoon, like was said, as the left rear brake lever is pulled, you will hear 2 clicks from the brake lever switch, the 1st click is the brake light and the 2nd click is the start Inhibitor. The Forza started right up, it has been sitting in my garage for a...

Re: How many miles do you expect out of your PCX?
well the main one would be the type of oil used .. going to fully synthetic 0W40 ,.. then changing the original windshield with the GIVI 322ST,..replace the original variator with the malossi multivar 2000 and as last adding a teflon additive to the oil... I will personally of the above for now for...

Could well be - they have 2 different manufacturers of one of the bearings listed - at very different prices.iceman wrote:Someone mentioned the colour had changed, black/blue or such for some circular bit, if so it seems more than just a grease issue.

My camera is now gathering dust. Sold almost all my lighting gears except one small flash. Lost my enthusiasm when everyone's suddenly became a photographer with their instagram accounts, LOL. I'm trying to involve myself into sports more now, I feel my body not getting any younger, and sports is t...

Re: Needed the Gloves Today
I wear mine all year around - gets a bit hot at times, but I figured they'd give my hands a lot of protection in the event of an accident. Quite true! But I'm talking a range of 5 miles and all 30 MPH or less zones along the waterfront. I live in a resort area. Traffic isn't too intense. TBH I fear...

Re: Strange sound from the vario
re: your 'rear drive shaft bearing' without the clutch / driven face in the equation video - what is the opinion on that being a good or bad sound? (I've got the replacement final drive part 8 assembly but not fitted it yet, and the bike makes a horrid graunching noise when wheeling it so I hope it...

Re: What's your other hobby...
Just saw this topic. This is what I do, on and off, for fun these days. The yellow plane and the one along side it are mine. As for the second picture, I used to be in a WWII living history group - we had 4 planes and flew to airshows all over the US. This is me in the cockpit of a Spitfire in Aspe...

I've just seen this thread for the first time - so belated congratulations on both baby #2 and your new house. I used to joke that criminals get "20 years punishment with hard labour" but for parents, it's the other way around - "hard labour and then 20 years punishment"! Sad to ...

Re: accident
Sorry to hear about your accidents.
I've clocked 34,000km on stock tyres - much of it at WOT - the only wobble I ever get is if I let go of the handlebar momentarily. Every other time the bike has been super-stable.

Re: Strange sound from the vario
I ordered the whole driven face on Partzilla and received it today. (23205-k35-v00) It is fine, that's the good part, Honda spare parts sticker, it came with a little tube of grease, unknown quality. The mounted bearings (INA) are slightly greased, but it is some factory grease, very far from the 8...

Partzilla only seem to have the 2013 speedometer assembly, least I could not see anything when searching for Honda > Scooter > 2012. Here's a link - the whole assembly, if matching yours, is $146 + shipping. https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda/scooter/2013/pcx150-ac-pcx150/speedometer Out of cu...

Only way I can describe it is when I use to change the oil on a car and then turn the engine over it sounds noisy for a bit untill the new oil gets around the engine similar on my bike for a few minutes with it being new The only thing I can relate to that is a bit of a "clatter" that I h...
