Re: New variator and drive face

I got 125 kph on the real road with kwn spring and front variator with 12gr rollers on a 61mm piston. That's without the rpm cut.
I don't have a lot of variators to work with so I tend to stay with stock and mix stuffs around.
Everything worked out so far.

Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS

It's no problem for now. Who knows, my Dobeck EJK may work out as a long term solution? Since I found out about this standalone, anything other than a standalone is strictly short term, except for those guys with scooter that has the 21 pin ECM. Those guys with the 33 pin ECM will eventually find t...

I saw the wiring diagram for your scooter. It is problematic.
Because your scooter uses 21 pin and 12 pin connector not 33 pin. I don't think I have the male and female for those 21 12 pins lol. Guess you're out of luck. I'd need to ask my guy first.

Gil
Full control over ignition timing at every TPS and RPM range.
Turbo? If you know how much fuel you need to compensate for the added air sure.

Re: STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS

Price for 1 model will be around 200USD (that is included shipping to your exact location). And yes I am selling it, but I do not have a lot of stock, since (1) it is just been out of development and officially in use and (2) I don't have a lot of money to stock it. For those of you who have doubts ...

STANDALONE ECU FOR PCX125/150 LED MODELS

Let me get straight into the point. We have perfected the standalone ECU for the PCX125/150 LED models. Wiring is the same from both models, I've checked. Brand is familiar, APITech. Let me explain a little. The problem with making a standalone for the PCX125/150 is that the stock ECM handles both s...

Re: Forza 35mm TB

Use the specs that comes with your particular camshaft. In this case I guess it's a takegawa. If nothing is specified, use stock. 0.1mm intake and 0.24mm exhaust.

Re: Forza 35mm TB

Yes. Yuminashi used another sensor block. That's what I'm trying to find out. No succeed yet. I guess they have figured that we have grown too smart to figure out their tricks so they did this "changing the sensor block" thing. 35 is very very very big though. Make sure your engine has a l...

I put a forza 300 muffler on my 61mm pcx. Can't hear the exhaust over 30km/h. Power is great.
Only problem is you'll have to make patches and pipe

Remove the fuel controller then.
Yuminashi controller has 2 dedicated wires. Plug them together and you removed the controller effectively.

Re: Yuminashi 175cc BBK

Had a 175cc kit with 150 Head, not enough money for the bigger head. I try to be as conservative as possible but the power is amazing. Bigger valves are long overdue. With the 150 head the gasket is thicker too, compression drops a bit (safer) and the meat of the gasket is thicker. In my view, they...

Illegal.
Europe is very strict about these things. Best you can do is upgrade and wish you don't have problems with it.

Re: Clutch Chatter No More ??

Another way to approach this clutch chatter is to use heavier clutch springs. But Honda does not have heavier clutch springs in stock that fit the PCX clutch pads, at least to my knowledge. Also using heavier springs will always be a nuisance so I went with the KVB clutch pads. So far so good.

Re: Clutch Chatter No More ??

Hotter clutch material became soft and slip more. Simple.
Honda style of making clutch is using the catchiest they can. A normal functioning clutch MUST slip to a certain degree, either on a car, bike or scooter.
Yamaha style is different, yamaha clutch slips easily. That's another kind of problem.

Re: Clutch Chatter No More ??

Great that you like it so far. Let me explain a little why I think these KVB clutch pads are OK. The problem with the stock KWN pads and now the K35 pads on the new LED models is that they are TOO catchy, too big friction coefficient, not that they are slipping. It engages too soon. So basically you...
