did get a bunch of the mid bike plastics removed-
just waiting for a sunny day to dig out the plasma cutter and fab some new
floorboards

been busier than I thought I'd be over the winter with my KW gravel truck
driving-wrenching-bookwork
now that spring is showing up going to make some time for my pcx
first thing is to get some of that plastic off

Lost more plastic?
and more like a bike
I see you posting off road
doing any scrambling?

Want to get rid of the rear plastic and floorboards going to try bolt on pegs as for the seat going to try to incorporate an after market one I bought trying to save under seat storage-if the seating still not right after getting rid of the afore mentioned stuff(bike's too wide for my liking) going ...

but any info on what not to do on the basic remod

Never liked the rear plastic on my PCX too wide
or the flat foot boards
going to try something similar to Dasshreddar- incorporating after market seat -PCX- with stock under storage
with bolt on foot pegs
if all works should be able to sit on my bike without splaying and have good access for service

sounds like honda missed on this one
no recalls- so the other forums mention something about after market stuff
cheap bikes but I think Honda should buck up if a common problem

Showed and old timer working on an AJS single my new bike- and his first comment on my new PCX
was That Honda never over builds
sounds like they might of scrimped on their clutch bearings

Two old red neck 60 plus bike riders in Squamish are tooling around on our new PCX's
and having a blast
nobody here thinks we are weird
lot's of thumbs up-enjoy

Just installed a V-stream on mine
three models available. Since I'm 5-6 went with the lowest
wind noise way down and can see over top
crosswinds a bit tricky though

Since the bike is an automatic the brake lock should work like a parking brake
put the bike up on it's centre stand and spin the back wheel
when you figure out the brake lock the wheel should lock
make you you learn also how to release properly
experiment and learn

First of all I like what you have accomplished
The seat bracket-I see all kinds of after market stuff- moly tubing -OK to weld?
did you use the lowering one?
and what seat height did you achieve?

would like to link up with Dasshreddar and pick his brain on some his mods

is really interested in the rukus pcx hybrid
can't wait to start choppin
