SH150i / SH300i

Hi modsquad :) Just a small, tiny little suggestion. There are no (zero) english speaking SH forums on the net with any kind of regular activity worth reading (there are a couple, but extreeeeeeemely outdated). The model has been reintroduced again for 2017 in 150 and 300 form in various parts of th...

Re: Got my pick of parking this morning.

To be frank the only reason supercar drivers park in front of anywhere is to get attention from "the poor". I see d!ckheads who couldn't drive to save themselves make complete assh@les out of themselves on the streets with lots of noise fairly regularly. Unfortunately for most supercar dri...

Forza300 revision due?

Hi all, just curious. The current model has been unchanged for a few years now (4+ ?) Any sightings, tales of fables about a new Forza 300 in the making? Google doesn't seem to know the answer but thought board members here might be better up to speed! I suppose the PCX would be due around 2019 or s...

Re: Cheap front stand; What're you using?

Another option maybe... I used to just tie a rope to the garage roof-beam and bike headstock (bit hard on a scooter but the bars on PCX may be ok as it's not a heavy bike) and use a piece of timber as a tourniquet to take the weight off the front. The timber would be tied-off back to the bike to hol...

Re: New owner - first mods and where to get parts in Austral

Hi Mike, Don't worry the PCX loosens up nicely from 500-1000kms and you'll find it has more than enough power. If you're looking for a simple task to gently ease you into maintenance try replacing the air filter with one from SIMOSA, BMC, K&N etc and junk that little plastic snorkel that's fitte...

Re: SP Takegawa vs Moriwaki exhausts

Vamootsman provided a link to a previous thread. Vamootsman and I went in on 2 power silent Oval's from webike japan in order to get the free shipping on orders over $500. So for roughly $250, we each got an exhaust. It does raise the power output noticeably. I have run the exhaust on both my 2013 ...

Re: K&N Air filter Installation and Performance Analysis

Hey guys and girls, I just went for a ride and can confirm the snorkel removal results in the most wonderful, deep note from the engine. Really nice, I highly recommend taking it out and trying for yourself (takes all of 1 minute to remove airbox cover, take out removable snorkel and refit cover). I...

... Jawa Babetta is awesome! I especially like the addition of bicycle head light as obviously the motorcycle head light will be inadequate  reminds me of the Aussie postie bike (based on Honda cub) which is a cultural icon in Australia. https://chrisadventure.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/004-2....

Re: Thinking about buying a 2015 PCX but ...?

Hello I was pretty close to putting an order in for a 2015 Honda PCX, that was until I read about the alarming issue concerning the centre stand/crankcase possible damage. I understand that Honda addressed this problem on the PCX150, was the PCX125 version also updated by Honda at the same time? Th...

... one more thing. Try BOTH and then decide.

The Forza is MUCH better for touring or longer rides but then again I find the PCX MUCH more comfortable and it LOVES commuting.

Hmm.. or get both?

Either way, nice position to be in. Ride safe mate.

Re: Is Honda Forza PCX good for LA traffic?

Sorry to hear about your accident and I'm very glad you are still here to tell us about it. I hope you managed enough strength to kick the driver's backside until he/she was spitting peanuts. I agree with the above comments. I commute on mine too in 50-80kph zones and i'm quite happy, never feel str...

Re: K&N Air filter Installation and Performance Analysis

For what it's worth I installed a SIMOTA high-flow airfilter and junked the snorkel. (from Taiwan - cheaper but otherwise exactly the same as BMC / K&N etc). As with every motor vehicle I have ever fitted a high-flow airfilter to (from inline 4's, twins, triples even cars and utes)... I notice a...

Re: SP Takegawa vs Moriwaki exhausts

Moriwaki anyone? The Takegawa is about $100 cheaper and has great reviews here.

I like the fact the Takegawa isn't too loud and appears to give some aesthetic & performance improvements (entirely subjective I understand). Shaving a few kg's too is a plus.

SP Takegawa vs Moriwaki exhausts

Hi folks, I have read a few good things on the forum about SP Takegawa silent oval exhausts which is almost enough to tempt me away from the Moriwaki i have been looking at in Webbike. Any reviews of either (or ideally both) exhaust systems? I am interested in terms of sounds, weight, any noticeable...
