Re: Congenital Noassatall - Need for seating.
http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=992&hilit=seat+uncovered This thread has pictures of what the PCX seat looks like uncovered, plus pictures of what my PCX seat looks like after I got it plastic-welded to lower it. It's pretty hard to get much of the slope out because of the way the se...

Re: Strongly considering Forza, just took first test ride.
You might want to take a look at the Suzuki Burgman 200. I can't reach the ground on a Forza but can flatfoot the Burgman 200. It's always good to be able to have both feet flat on the ground.

Re: Burgman 200
The reason I thought the radiator seemed like road debris would hit it is because the mud splash drops just from rolling across the parking lot of the dealership extended up onto the radiator. I didn't ask about a test drive because I was a finalist in a radio station motorcycle giveaway contest and...

Re: Burgman 200
Got to sit on a Burgman 200 today. I'm 5'3" and could flat foot it. The seat is very wide. A bigger Burgman was parked right next to it and the bigger Burg's seat seemed narrower. The handlebars are black plastic covered so you couldn't add a GPS or anything like on the PCX's handlebars. But th...

Re: My Husband and I both got the PCX 150
Some of you folks live such sheltered lives ... come to Thailand (and many other places in Asia) where there are loads of scooters and PCX's all around. But then we'd have to leave our neon gear at home, wear tank tops, shorts and flip-flops, and use our lack-of-sun, chalk-white bodies to stand out...

Re: My Husband and I both got the PCX 150
Welcome Steph, I'm in northern Indiana but sometimes ride around in Michigan. I wear Hi-Viz gear, too. Don't see many scooters while riding, I don't think I've ever seen another PCX on the road.

Composite toe leather boots, leather overpants, leather gloves, armored jacket, full face helmet. Summer and winter, same gear. PCX 150.

Re: Blessing of the Bikes; Baldwin, MI 2014
I was at the Nappanee, Indiana Blessing of the Bikes in April. There were about 1000 bikes, but only two scooters. My PCX and a generic Chinese scoot. I don't have pictures because I was too busy gawking at all the other bikes.

Do you have your route planned and are you going to post it here so you can see your fellow PCXers along the way?

Re: PCX Windscreen list
Thanks for the update... please keep us posted. As of this afternoon, my Givi 322 is wrapped up and ready to be shipped back, and the stock Honda shield - tiny as it is - is back on. I even tested taping over the hole at the bottom of the Givi to see if air was coming in that way, but it didn't mak...

Re: Givi 323 tall windscreen
The Givi 323 is a great screen IF you can see over it. I couldn't. I'm 5'3" and had my seat lowered, so I could only look through the 323 which was not a good thing in rain or fog. The 323 also helps keep the PCX from getting blown around sideways in crosswinds. I'm now using the taller Honda s...

Re: Windsreen removal easy or hard. .
The tall Honda screen has brackets and isn't as easy to install as a Givi or Puig screen. The installation steps are in a post with pictures under the heading "Honda's own windscreen upgrade - anyone?"

Re: Honda's own windscreen upgrade - anyone?
I look over it. I'm 6'1". If you look at the last few pictures, you will see that the screen is about 4 to 5 inches taller than the mirrors. If you wish, I can measure from the dash straight up to get the height and take a photo. Yes, thank you, that would help a lot. It's hard trying to figur...

Re: Honda's own windscreen upgrade - anyone?
Thank you for all the info, especially the pictures! One last question---do you look through the screen or over it? Okay, one more last question--how tall are you? I'm only 5'3" and would like to be able to see over a screen rather than have to look through it. Maybe the better question would b...

Re: Honda's own windscreen upgrade - anyone?
Indyglow I'm not sure, what you mean by buffeting? Do you mean like the windshield fluttering or vibrating at top speeds? Does the wind come over the top of the screen right at your helmet and hit so hard your eyes bobble around in your head, or your head bobbles around on your neck, or anything li...

Re: Honda's own windscreen upgrade - anyone?
I bough my PCX used, it had 1400 miles on it. It also had the Honda full screen on it. They either gave it to the lady who purchased the bike, or she purchased it and had it added to the bike. What do you think of the Honda screen? Any buffeting issues at higher speeds or anything you don't like ab...

Re: Problem with the wind
Thanks for your suggestions but it's the cross wind which is the problem, it's not bad with a head on wind. I know the crosswind is the problem, but for some reason having the tall Givi windscreen pretty much eliminates the problem. Does anyone here know why having a tall windscreen would el...

Re: Problem with the wind
Why can't you guys use the tall screen and trim to fit? Cutting down the screen does seem like a quick, easy fix, but I don't have the tools or skills to do a good job of it myself, and taking it to a glass shop ends up costing too much. I had a glass shop cut down another screen on a different bik...
