Re: Fuel bar observations
Would a red MSR bottle be okay? I’ve got several laying around.

Re: Fuel bar observations
A noob question: Do the fluctuating temperatures eventually affect the safety of the jug? Do you dispose of the gas if it’s been in the jug for a long time? Or do you leave it untouched unless you have to use it?

Re: Fuel bar observations
Yeah, I think I'm over-analyzing my fuel gauge. Knowing I can go about 200 miles, I should just leave it at that. This is the first vehicle I've ever owned that had a digital gauge. Gotta...stop...staring...at...it...

Fuel bar observations
Based on two fill ups, I've averaged 204 miles until the final bar was the only one left (I didn't wait until that bar started blinking to find fuel). Anyhow, I noticed that the second bar (near the E side) takes forever to disappear compared to the other six (I don't count the 9th bar nearest the F...

Re: Real world weight limit on Shad cases?
I had considered a bigger top case, but I wasn't sure if the size would be too wide and effect gas mileage (I used a Kathmandu backpack on my trip. BTW, I heard you could spot a Kiwi by how much Kathmandu gear they're wearing). Yup, I did the whole tourist routine and took a million pictures of the ...

Re: what are the differences between the 2015,16,17,18 model
I bought a used 2015 model with 1050 miles for $2200. The previous owner dropped it on the right side, which the dealership disclosed. Just some scuffs, nothing wrong with the drivetrain (knock on wood). I personally hate the way the PCX looks (too futuristic, too bug-like), BUT I didn't buy it for ...

Re: Real world weight limit on Shad cases?
I ended up getting the Givi B360 instead of the Shad. The price with the PCX-specific rack was only a few more dollars than the Shad. Never having used either brand, I'm not sure if one is noticeably better than the other. Maverick, incredible photos. Brings back memories. It's interesting you say t...

Re: Real world weight limit on Shad cases?
If it's been working for you, then that's good enough for me. BTW, I see you're from NZ. I spent three years cycling around the world from 2013-2016, and when I was in NZ I decided to see the country by scooter due to being burned out from pedaling. It was the first time I ever rode a scooter. I wen...

Real world weight limit on Shad cases?
Shad says 3 kgs (6.6 lbs) weight limit on some of their top cases. Is this just lawyer speak, or can you put, say, double that weight?

So far, the places I've looked have it Out of Stock or Discontinued.

Re: Ignition panel sticker?
Thanks, everyone, that's the part I'm looking for. As for the scooter, I was shocked how much the panel was scratched. It was as if the previous owner was suffering from Parkinson's. No offense. Anyhow, I test rode it around the dealership parking lot and the only thing I noticed is that it vibrates...

Re: Ignition panel sticker?
I'm picking up the scooter this weekend from the dealer, so I'll post a pic then. It's a used scooter with 1100 miles, but the ignition panel is incredibly scratched. Luckily the rest of the scooter is fine.

Ignition panel sticker?
The panel around the key ignition slot is all scratched up, with some of the wording unreadable. Can I get a replacement sticker or something? Partzilla, Bikebandit doesn't sell it, or I'm not looking hard enough.
