I am convinced!
I am sitting here grinning like the Cheshire Cat. I brought my "new to me"PCX 125 home yesterday and had a chance to take it out for a good run despite some chilly temps. Running the scoot on a course near home had me laughing and hooting. More fun between 25 and 45 mph than an adult shoul...

Re: Tail Light Assembly & Fix
Good work! Thanks for the help. Part is ordered and the problem will son be resolved. BTW, a tip for future reference is if you keep the contacts isolated with some electrical tape, the bike will still start and run. Of course the rear brake switch will not activate the light nor will it allow start...

Re: OOPS!
Many thanks WN! A fine diagnosis and solution. My switch was missing the spring and the tan piece between the metal contacts. Must have popped out as the bike was in transit on the trailer. The pin did appear and the tapered end was curved the way you described yours. Seems like the solution is stra...

OOPS!
While bringing my PCX home I accidentally jerked the wire leading into the left brake lever assembly out of its socket. :x Two metal tabs are exposed. Results are the rear brake lever does not activate the brake lights and pulling the lever in does not allow starting. The bike starts when closing th...

Re: How long you been riding?
Yes, that is a Vespa built for Sears. They carried a line of scooters, small motorcycles and mopeds under the Allstate label. The Vespa was called the "Cruisaire". Two stroke, 125cc. three speed. You mixed the oil and you flipped the gas cock over to reserve when gas was low (just like a '...

I was first infected with two wheel passion nearly 52 years ago with one of these.... http://imageshack.us/a/img806/9594/cruisaireapplianceblue1.jpg That little Allstate made me feel like Alladin and his flying carpet. Many years later, after having to behave like a responsible adult, the bug fester...

New member from North Carolina
Hello from Tryon, NC where the roads gain altitude and attitude. 8) I just sealed the deal on a gently used PCX125 Sunday. http://imageshack.us/a/img43/6295/sidepcx.jpg I will take delivery of the scoot next week. Can't wait to get it home and start putting some miles and smiles on the odometer. Whe...
