The PCXs are beautiful rides and particularly attractive to young men. I would get the insurance and take prudent precautions.

Remember that the 4kg carrying capacity of the box includes anything on the rack. Good point, especially since I've read a couple of Shad reviews that mentioned the box ripping off of its rack mount! Although, I'd imagine the box is flexible enough to remind me not to overload it? I was thinking it...

Might be time to invest in a Harley product called 'fork cuffs'. I own a pair of these and although youyou would say they were **** and he could torch it off, that hasn't happened to me yet. It has been very steamy here (temps consistently over 95 F), but the PCX is handling it just fine
In fact, better than my last scooter, which was carbed and did not seem as well cooled

I topped off the coolant the other day, just in case

If this is the dealer that you bought it from recently,
perhaps they could do a test ride, fix it, then do another test ride.

I would try suggesting that.
