It will be ok on the freeway,....I've ridden a 110 Vision over here on the motorway... Where is this motorway you speak of Mister Paul? Would you Please enter your location in your profile so you can help others (and vice versa) ;) It doesn't matter when one lives. Those fast roads are called motor...

Re: Freeway riding
It will be ok on the freeway, but not as responsive around its top speed as a bigger bike. I've ridden a 110 Vision over here on the motorway and there's a knack to it -I found that if you tuck behind a truck when the traffic is flowing freely it's ok. Have you thought about an SH300i. Much more cap...

Re: Riding with a passenger
There was a 2CV specialist close to where we lived in Birmingham. He took one, took the body off, rotated it 180 degrees and bolted it back on. It was quite a head turner to see it passing you, apparently backwards. The bloke said it went faster the wrong way round.

I've got a Lidl full-face that the boys used to wear when I rode them to school.
The helmet they'll most enjoy for cool factor would be a motocross lid with separate googles.

what's an Adventure bike?? There's two types. 1: any motorcycle or scooter at all 2: expensive bloated monstrous hideous beast with long travel suspension and off-road/Paris-Dakar styling cues, normally used for "adventures" to the local biker hang-out on sunny Sunday afternoons by fat ba...

It was a beautiful machine. A blue F-type coupe. Private plate, but it looked brand new. I rolled up alongside it at the lights. Rule 1 is don't let them know you've even acknowledged them. So without moving my head, out of the corner of my eye I watched him sidle up a little further, as close to th...

I've recently discovered that SH300s bought in Italy come with a 4 year warranty? Why do we only get 2?

Re: Screens
Hi - Mister Paul - any chance you could post or send the screen fitting instructions you mention? I need to remove the plastic cover around the headlight on my 2017 SH300i ... without breaking it. Thanks. Here you go... https://s13.postimg.org/6qz7jjyiv/IMG_1493.png https://s13.postimg.org/nri3s9e5...

I had a Versys which had them on when I bought it. They worked really well and never caused me battery problems.

Re: Termoscud leg cover
Do you have pics of how you tied down the front lower straps, I can't seem to get them to seal properly. Gil After a couple of months of using this I'm finding that there's more of a draft. I did 20 motorway miles in torrential rain last week and the front of my jeans from knee to shoe were pretty ...

Re: Removing CBS?
I have a road race background - rear brake only tightens your line in corners, rear only helps in tight u turns, at max braking the weight transfer dramatically changes braking balance Lets look at these one at a time. Most (all?) places its illegal to race on open public roads. The PCX isn't desig...

Re: Removing CBS?
Is it possible to remove the CBS all together from new pcx 2018 and just have normal braking ? Would that be hard? My concern is about all the reports of the front wheel locking and coming off the bike. Also when I'm in Thailand the roads are slippery in rain season and when driving on a little gra...

Re: Rust on new parts
The scoot is indoors at home and work and hasn't been out much thus winter. I'm surprised. I'm not. I've seen brand new Hondas come out the crate with corrosion on them. Read ye the owners manual, it usually mentions to use protective lotions and potions. Riding on UK roads unprotected in winter......

Re: Rust on new parts
Apply acf-50 after cleaning as much as possible. Some scoots come from humid climates, then sit at dealers for a time. Where is the SH300 built? In any event, a Honda shouldn't be rusting yet. (I did have a Japanese made Burgman that had never been parked outdoors, but sat 3 yrs on dealer floor - w...

Rust on new parts
There's some surface rust on my SH300, which I bought new in April and have done 1800 miles on. It's only on the bottom of the shocks.

Re: Oil leak
Update: Honda UK offered me a year's additional warranty. I said that I was concerned about the resale value of the scoot and any future issues that might appear at some time from running the engine for 1800 miles with no head gasket. They refused to replace the engine and said it would be fine now....

I don't like the Vespa's mudguard headlight.
Nothing wrong with a 300cc engine in a proper-shaped scooter. It's the best of most worlds.

Re: Tucano Urbano and PCX 2014 ?
Urban Tucan (meaning colorful/fun scooter driver; Milan, Italy) is a re-seller of quality goods. They carry some bags, but I'm guessing you are referring to a hard case, most likely one they no longer carry. Can you be more specific about the product? An item name, size, model number, general descr...
