SYM Citycom 300i Heavy but it sure looks good...

Hi everyone. By accident I came across the Citycom 300i scooter. Owners rave about it. It looks like it would be a perfect scooter for road trips or commuting. Google SYM Citycom 300i and check it out. Ride safe.

Re: Newbie from france

My wife loves to ride with me. Because of this , in your opinion, would it be a good idea to increase the 150cc PCX engine to 175cc for a bit more power? Thanks for your help. Ride safe.

Re: Newbie from france

Hi Fred, My wife and I took a vacation in France. We bought two wheel peddle bikes and rode them everywhere. It was the best vacation we ever took. I hope we can go back some day. Have a great day. Ride safe.

Screaming Banshee Horn could be a real life saver...

Have you seen the Screaming Banshee horn? I came across it my accident. It's very loud. A real attention getter. It can be wired so your head lights flash when the horn goes off to. Google screaming banshee horn to read about it and see it on youtube.com. It's worth a look. I'll defiantly be getting...

Re: Has anyone thought of increasing engine to 175cc?

Thanks much for your reply's. It seems to me a 175cc would be a win win all the way around. If I had a choice between a PCX 150 and PCX 175 new from Honda I would buy the PCX 175, put better shocks on it and drive it until I wore it out, then buy a new one. Ride safe my friends.

Re: Honda Forza 300 vs Kawasaki j300

Thank you for your reply. The j300 is starting to not look so good to me. Looks like the Forza would be the way to go. I like Kawasaki products. One of the most fun motorcycles I ever owned was a Ninja 650. I'm surprised Kawasaki did not design there own scooter and build it from the ground up. Mayb...

Honda Forza 300 vs Kawasaki j300

It looks like the Honda Forza is going to have some very stiff competition from the Kawasaki j300. I've read the j300 will cruise two up at 80 MPH all day. It has a little bit larger motor. Looks like gas mileage is about the same. J300 0 to 60 is 5.5 seconds. Top speed for the j300 is either 100 MP...

Has anyone thought of increasing engine to 175cc?

Have any of you thought about increasing the engine size on a PCX 150 to 175cc? This might be a foolish question. I have no idea how hard it would be and I would have to pay someone to do it if I had it done. Any thoughts?

Re: Crazy motorcycle race

No, not for the faint of heart. I almost wet my pants just watching it. Boy that's a dangerous race. Buildings, trees, curbs, almost no chance if they go down. They've got a lot bigger balls than me. Very scary.

Re: Locked my keys in my car...

There's another dumb guy here. I locked the keys in my 3/4 ton pickup at my sisters house. I called two pros to get them out. Both failed so I borrowed a hammer from my sister and broke the vent. I think it cost $50.00 to get it fixed. Yes, it was years ago. Lesson learned. Ever since I never go any...

I'd have to change my pants to. Lucky he was on the side of the road he was or it really would have got him. Makes you stop and think. You never know but you may as well have fun while you can because the day is coming when the fun your having now will be never more.

Re: Drifting

Back in the late 60's and 70's I was really into doing power slides, that's what I called them. On a tricked out 185cc Suzuki I raced a 450 Husky from Malcolm Smith's (On Ant Sunday fame) shop and beat it. I was trying to beat the guy all day and I finally did. They sure were good years. Ride safe m...

Re: Newbie with a fresh 2014 pcx

Thanks so much for all of the pictures. It sure is a beautiful scooter. It looks like the headlight really lights up the front while riding at night. A giant plus. I'm all ready to go buy a new PCX 150 but I just found out it is not sold in the Philippines which seems very odd to me. Maybe next year...
