Re: 150/70-13 Bridgestone Hoop vs OEM Dunlop

Some large folks have experienced rubbing with using a 150/70-13 tire. Not sure how large you have to be for that to be an issue. I put a 150/70-13 Metzeler Feelfree on my Forza. I'm 185 lbs and it's not an issue for me. Got 7000 miles so far on the new tire and looks like it's still good for quite ...

Re: New Forza

My Size M modular helmet fits in either the front or back but won't fit in either location if positioned incorrectly.

Re: over 40MPH without a screen?

Stock screen on mine. 12,000 miles almost exclusively at 65-75 mph. Have rarely ridden anywhere except on the freeway to and from work. I don't like the looks of the larger screens.

Re: Help Finding Rear Tire Replacement

AustinPCX, have you noticed any difference with the new tire dimensions (150/70 - 13 M/C) compared to the recomented (140/70 - 13 M/C)? Is the new tire touching anywhere? On the left suspension or the filter box? Thanks for your time. Seems to ride smoother, grip is definitely better. Not touching ...

sean wrote:AustinPCX, can you please tell me where you got the 150/70-13 Metzeler Feelfree tire and how much you paid?
I've seen them on eBay for $70-$80. I paid $120 including installation at a scooter shop a mile from my house.

Re: Help Finding Rear Tire Replacement

I put 5400 miles on the original Dunlop rear tire before the steel belts started poking through. I replaced it with the 150/70-13 Metzeler Feelfree. I have over 5000 miles on the Metzeler with little sign of wear. In my opinion it's a better handling tire than the original.

I imagined this was more of a old hubby's tale.

Re: HONDA HP4M oil @ 1K miles

Do you think Honda recommends every 8000 miles because they don't want to sell more of their expensive oil? 8000 miles is well inside the margin of error, by a lot.

Re: Encouraging a productive and friendly environment

At the start of WWII the U.S. had the 11th most powerful military in the world. Germany wasn't too concerned about the U.S. half way on the other side of the world as Hitler steamrolled his way through Europe. Most U.S. citizens at the time couldn't have cared less about who controlled Europe. Didn'...

We were in the 20's in the morning for a week, then back up to 60's and 70's. Makes no difference to me as long as it isn't ice or a torrential downpour.

Re: NSS300 Fuel Pump problems

Since I haven't had any issues after 10,000 miles, makes me think I'm better off not doing the fuel pump replacement rather than have some noob tech muck things up. I've never ridden more than 20 miles from my house anyways.

68F very light drizzle today but I didn't see any other cycles on on the highway to or from work. About 800,000 people in this hipster town. By light drizzle I mean I didn't get a drop, but the roads were slightly damp.

Re: NSS 300 Fuel Pump Recall/Replacement: Success?

Wonder if you can get the dealer to check the valves at a minimal charge while they're at it? 60 fuel ups....? How many miles on your Forza? Doubt it would be a minimal charge to check the valve lash.....whatever time past 1 hour for the pump might be on your bill for the valves. Maybe not , certai...

Most people don't put enough miles on their scooter to affect their cars lifespan or trade in value. Plus you are reducing the scooters lifespan and trade in value at the same time.
