Re: Handlebar alignment

Could it just be that the forks and wheel are not straight? Maybe loosen the front wheel and try and straighten everything?

Re: Valve clearances on a new 2018 PCXneeded adjustments

Chances are if you ran it another 1-2k, they would self clearance. lol. Just wondering ..... have you ever experienced loose or tight valve clearances naturally correcting themselves over time? Not being critical, just curious if this can occur. Coming from the Honda Ruckus scene, We experience hig...

Re: Valve clearances on a new 2018 PCXneeded adjustments

with only 1100miles, seems a little premature to adjust if they are still within tolerance.

Chances are if you ran it another 1-2k, they would self clearance. lol. Im all about being OCD but this seems too much but kudos for checking.

Re: Speedometer 10 percent ahead

Make sure the tire pressure is correct. if the pressure on the back tire is low it will rear high (or vis versa). lol

Higher PSI will give you a taller tire and might lower that percentage.

Simply judging by all the burned oil on the header, you probably do have a leak.

Re: What kind of cool stuff have you done or added to your pcx?

Installed Lowering kit front and rear. Sinatlled an exhaust from Wirus-Win and a Chimera Intake system. Changed out the handlebars and upgraded the tire size. A good amount of CVT tuning to make it accelerate better and increased the top end around 10MPH. Also added ancle bitter CVT covers too. and ...

Re: Can a 150CC PCX CVT fits a 125CC PCX?

Im going to go on a whim and say the Crank shaft that the Variator rides on is all the same from a 125cc and 150cc.

Most Variators say 125/150cc application.

Re: Acceleration test

OK OK enough is enough. No one on this forum has a PCX 150 that will consistently run 75mph without a displacement upgrade. Downhill doesn't count. Tailwind,,,great but doesn't count. Alice went down that rabbit hole and Physics filled it in and she's lost. Stop the madness! Consistent "cruisi...

ha ha hah. That's Great.

I did the 2 feet on the clutch assembly and slowly step off. These Contra's dont have compression like a car spring or something lol

Re: Bike needs to rev higher after changing to aftermarket clutch

How about the pillow springs? What kind of effect would there be, if I changed to heavier ones? I have a lot of experience with Clutch engagement and Contra spring experimenting. Pillow Springs I never experimented since all my tuning life i didnt have any on any of my scooters but I know what they...

Re: Bike needs to rev higher after changing to aftermarket clutch

The higher clutch engagement is due to stiffer engagement springs. That is not the contra spring. Contra spring changes the rate of shifting.

Go with softer engagement springs if you want lower engagement.

Re: Webike Japan and Kitaco returns.

I would second finding a local welder. Any time I buy anything from Webike I just mentally prepare myself for it being no warranty or anything given the language barrier and how long it takes to even receive someone you order. You could be down months while you wait for shipping. Any shop that has a...

Re: Acceleration test

My objective was more top end, not how fast I could get there. If you tune the CVT correctly, you can obtain great acceleration, and retain top end speed. The goal is to go as light as possible with the weights but heavy enough to get full Variator travel. Allowing the belt to fully travel, instead...

Re: 2019 PCX 150 CVT Upgrade

I have a '17 and I got almost 10mph increase in speed with just a Variator and Driveface.

Just did some research and it looks like the 17-18 still have the same gear ratios. The 2019+ have the steeper gears, Thus giving you less top end even with an aftermarket Variator.

Re: Average cost to remove and replace both tires?

I just got a quote of $75 to do the job. It's the only legit service center and scooter dealer on SI so I'm going to pay the $75. Looking forward to trying out these City Grip 2s! That's a really good price given you have to remove the exhaust, Swing arm and changing both tires. You will love the t...

This is not Facebook. You dont get quick responses. lol

I think I answered you on FB too... Newer PCX's have shorter gears so they don't respond to Variators as good as the older models.
