Re: hi people I'm new pcx 2016 just cut off
That is a pain. You say checked easy things, have you checked the battery. My thoughts were battery or alternator. Hoping it is the battery or something else simple

Re: PCX125 finally gets some much deserved love
Well put Mel. I try to ride with that attitude. If I am riding along a dual carriageway where there are cars driving in front, behind or alongside me I will try to speed up slowdown change lane etc. Not erratically but I figure if I stay at the same speed as them and in the same spot relative to the...

Re: Do I need to drain oil before checking valve clearances
Thanks to all for advice. I last checked the valve clearances at 2500miles. It's now got tad under 7500 on it. Checked them last night. Inlet is supposed to be nominally 0.1mm. Mine was 0.05mm so glad I checked and adjusted. Exhaust valve was spot on. Will stick with the 2500 mile interval in future...

Re: Do I need to drain oil before checking valve clearances
the guides are great I've used them in the past to check the clearances. But I can't see any reference to whether the oil needs to be drained before hand. Also oil I use is motul not Mobil

Do I need to drain oil before checking valve clearances
I am in process of checking valve clearances. I have stripped the fairing off and removed luggage box battery etc. I am very specific about what oil I use. The Mobil stuff which matches what Honda recommend. Last time I did my valve clearance check I changed oil at same time but I don't have any to ...

Re: Idle Stop
When I first got the bike I used start stop feature , but when the winter came and had to commute in the dark, the green light on the dash would irritate me so I turned the feature off. I could of stuck some tape over the light but I am also aware that I want the bike to last me circa 50,000 miles s...

I liked the picture, it's a perfect example of a blue tit. It's song in my opinion is the best out there, with the reply call from it's mate providing a soronous counterpoint....uh sorry I like the bird. In actual fact my favourite part of the bible is where Noah receives the olive branch from the d...

Re: A Salute to Veterans
That is one exciting and fulfilling career Mel. I understand the frustration with hierarchy. Although I have never been in the forces, working in industry can feel suppressive. I have learned the hard way that self worth and confidence comes from within and we make our own opportunities (a little lu...

Re: Improvement to the forum
Haha, I had a day where every little thing annoyed me but today I,m back to not giving a monkeys. The threads such as 'drama and bullcrap' come up in bold, but the general threads relevant do not, that is what I meant. The view active posts thingy does the trick.
