Thanks Homie

Must have been a stone chip. Any tips for fixing?

Sometimes my steering lock works the first time I try to put it on, and other times I need to keep moving the handlebars back to centre and then to the far left, try to lock the steering, and keep repeating if it doesn't lock.....

Is there a secret to this?

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and comments...At night, and at work, I am using a grip lock on the right grip and a 1/2" cable on the tire secured to the footing of the shed, and an oxford cover..... .thinking about purchasing a second grip lock then I could put one on both grips....easy ...

I know if someone wants your bike bad enough, it's gone.....but that being said, what do you use to discourage would be thieves when you park your bike in a public place, example in a parking spot on the side of a street or in a grocery store parking lot?

Is there a trick to applying the centre stand? The Honda dealer showed me, but try as I might I can't do it. I can stand on the tip of the stand with all my weight and it won't budge.

Yes....loved riding the Grom, even without its fender and mirrors, as they were removed for the student training....

I have good gear....armoured jacket, gloves, and motorcycle boots. Full face helmet, and just purchased rain pants, to go over my heavy weight jeans. Armoured pants are on my wish list.
