It is a thing of beauty!
What are the wheel and tyre size you run? They really set off the scoot with the debadging.
How on Earth do you remove the swingarm and not overstress the CVT housing?

Re: Suzuki Satria F150 MotoGP
I've never seen an underbone sold in Aus, except for the Honda CT110 "Postie bike" licenced exclusively to Australia Post, and it's derivatives and clones (Sym). https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ4bGVryaBy35HfHQgSmAP65yAYSE6FeTOpgtBAoXLS5X08o1E5G3a5jzko https://encrypt...

The 2018 Piaggio Beverley 350. Is it seriously two up capable? Is it comfortable? They still sell these at the two Vespa dealers who continue to survive in my state. Usually only see them listed in small numbers. . .. Not a bad looking machine. I guess Law Enforcement uses them in some countries. 8...

Re: Chicaboo's BBK kit and performance mods.
Update: The insurance company finally got back to me this morning and officially advised me that the scooter is a (repairable) write-off. The damage bill came to over $2600, and the market value of the scooter is $2600, with a final payout figure of $4300, less $500 policy excess (all in metric $). ...

Re: Best British import since muffins
Speaking of that movie, when I was in the Coast Guard (12 years) our sub-motto (after ALWAYS PREPARED) was "we have to go out, but we don't have to return". A little morbid but the truth. We did what many others would not dare do. We went where many others would not dare to go. Yet, if I ...

Re: Aprovic exhaust pcx150 2018 model
Tuning isn't needed for just an exhaust. I used an EJK with a bigger throttle body and injector so I could control the fuelling. But I also needed to have an AFR gauge attached to the exhaust so I could measure the air fuel ratio and tune the EJK. In short, you only do tuning to support more signifi...

Re: Chicaboo's BBK kit and performance mods.
Just looking at Yamaha and Kymco, the Xmax 300 beats the Downtown 350i for the same money ($8000 AUD). When the Downtown used to sell for $1000-1500 less before they released the Xtown, it was the easy choice. But there's half a dozen motorcycles up to 500cc I could consider up to the same money wit...

I'm only licenced up to 660cc, so things like the CTX700 and NM4 are just out of my reach.

Re: Chicaboo's BBK kit and performance mods.
I want to ride again, but what I learned from the PCX is that I would be better off with a bigger scoot/moto than trying to do up a little scoot... I would miss the agility and manoeuvrability of a PCX, but I really need something more substantial for someone my height and weight. I'm too big for a ...

I'm getting good money for the scooter, and back what the riding gear cost me.
By the time I sell the parts I have lying around I will come out in front I believe.

I got a similarly brief email from the insurance company saying someone will be in touch me, and to have my financial details prepared. So it looks like it is definitely...

Re: Chicaboo's BBK kit and performance mods.
Update: The place sourcing the replacement parts for the repair quote rung me today.
I gave them the details for the mirror extenders and brake levers, but still won't know the outcome for another day or two I reckon.
