Re: PCX|Blur|Reflex|SC250
~~ For mods, I know I'll eventually get a windshield for it, but the one Genuine makes I'm not very fond of. Found a decent PUIG one that is supposed to fit, but we'll see. I'm debating something for a little extra storage as the Blur has no glove box. Don't really want a gear box as I think it ruin...

Re: PCX|Blur|Reflex|SC250
~~ Yeah, it's quite different it seems, heh. The PCX150 was going to be $3849 out the door, the Blur was about $4200. I assume they are just not selling period down in Atlanta 'cause 3500 is a full 500 off the MSRP price. That's gotta cut through a significant portion of the mark-up. So, the bike wa...

~~ Maddie: I signed papers this morning, but it's been raining since I got off of work at 7 this morning. It's supposed to be dry tomorrow morning so all I have to do is go there and drive it home. Well, my mom is going to so I don't have to go on 45+ MPH roads my first time on 2-wheels. Also, why w...

I went with the Blur. He gave me the discount and got a great rate on the loan for the rest of the bike (3.8%, no additional fees). Payments are gonna be about $105 a month. I pick it up on monday.

Re: PCX|Blur|Reflex|SC250
~~ Yeah, the Reflex is a solid bike. I've seen a few of them and it's biggest negative (for me) is that the bike seems like it's a lot bulkier than it really should be. It's got more of a big cruiser bike look and I'm actually more into something sportier. I talked to the owner down at the shop toda...

PCX|Blur|Reflex|SC250
~~ So, as some may know, I've been waiting quite a few months for the PCX150 here in Wisconsin. So, my eyes have been wandering. I want the community's opinions on the following bikes: Genuine Blur SS220i (PGO G-Max 220i) - All accounts say this is a flat out awesome bike to ride. It has some issue ...

~~ First one here is from a remix album. The band is Asking Alexandria and they got a bunch of DJ's together to remix a bunch of their songs using samples and such and released a whole CD of it. This one's dubsteppy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkIaAh4jXRs This has been my favorite band for a few...

Actually, they should just make the Reflex again and half the things people want on a PCX would be moot. Standard models seems a bit bulky, but the 'sport' models were awesome.

I'd tell them to make that Blue from Japan an option!

Re: 50 Ways to Stay Alive
...If everyone kept common sense in mind... ~~ Lots of drivers don't, heh. I think that's why there's so many things about watching your ass when on a bike. Most of these things will come as instinct to some, and become instinct after awhile of driving. But, when starting out, it's good to practice...

50 Ways to Stay Alive
~~ When I first started getting the idea of getting a bike into my head, I was debating between a PCX and a Ninja 250r. I came across this thread for new riders on a Kawasaki forum and figured it would be a good one to post here. Great read for new riders and seasoned ones as well as a reminder. Ple...

Re: Getting a PCX 125 on Saturday!
Yeah, I try to be very careful because I'm a bit nervous. I hate getting too close to other vehicles - so much so that I turn left out of the car park then go around the roundabout and head back the other direction. It adds about 5 minutes onto my journey, but I feel safer doing it that way! (It's ...

If there are any kind of custom shops near you, or within calling distance, they can probably either paint to match, or can tell you someone in the area that can. Custom shops are cool like that.

I've always wondered about the CBS pressure split on the back brake, but never actually looked it up. You'd think if they perfected the ratio enough, there would be little reason to have more than one break lever.

~~ This actually interests me greatly as I know absolutely nothing about mechanics. OK, i know a little as I've owned a lot of beaters but... I thought brake fluid was similar to hydraulic fluid? As in...in a car for example, when you push the brake, it puts pressure in the brake line putting pressu...

Re: About to buy a pcx 150 - couple questions
^ What am I supposed to be looking at on the link? I do agree though, idle stop is only useful in stop-and-go city traffic with lots of red lights. It wouldn't affect my commute at all, since I have very few stops per mile. ~~ That's what I was thinking. That and, if I was driving in the kind of st...
