Re: Roller weights an peak power and torque
hi mate, about 8200-300rpm is best performance given without adverse negative effects. its like giving yourself a 5 speed transmission over old 4 speed... I'd concur with that, 13g rollers and a newish belt with the NCY vario on flat ground I'm getting about 72 at that rpm. The highest rpm I've see...

Re: 2019 PCX150 - USA model
Like the lights, the dash, and the wider wheels and tires, and the color is nice too, but seriously, the X-Town 300 isn't much difference in price and you get a lot more.

Re: Hi everyone... NCY Variator kit?
From what i have read on this forum, for quite a few years now, the key to performance gains when using the NCY variator is to also use the NCY drive face. I think that it is slightly heavier than the stock one, which seems to make a difference. I am no expert by a long shot but when I first became...

Re: FWIW, My PCX compared to Stock Forza observations
Personally I find the Silver wing ugly and bloated looking, not that it's not a good machine. My friend has one and swears by it. Yuminashi has a full on 175cc kit that includes everything you need for the PCX. maxtremo on youtube says it's a rocket. Lots of work but a possible altrnative.

Re: FWIW, My PCX compared to Stock Forza observations
I can't help thinking the same thing, I'd love more power and a bit more room, the new Forza has a higher seat and a shorter wheebase, exactly the opposite of what I was hoping for, and the extra bulk offsets the extra performace somewhat. At least they trimmed off some weight though. Ideally I'd li...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Interestingly the NCY fork I got is behaving very much like my PCX fork with the uprated springs and the PDD valves installed. Can't find anything on the net regarding how they build them, just good reviews from peeps who've fitted them to other scoots. So I dont think I'll need to transfer the upra...

Re: Hi everyone... NCY Variator kit?
[quote="Rain"]I must get a Koso mini tacho to see my engine revs. Installed mine today. When set to P1 the idle only shows around 800rpm, so checked with the Honda and they say the PCX idles around 1,700 +/- 100rpm, so set the gauge to P0.5 and I'm getting 1.7-1.8 rpm's or about what it sh...

Re: Overdue Installs and reports
Your rear tire will throw off the speedo, how much it's hard to say, you can use the Tacoma tire calculator to compare but with a 140 on that skinny rim the shape will not be the same. The circumference will likely be more than the calculator shows due to pinching in of the sidewalls pushing out the...

Re: rhythmic squeaking when braking
Well the left lever only controls the center piston (of 3). using the right lever controls the upper and lower pistons. If you remove the caliper pop out the center piston and check for corrosion or gunk and the condition of the square seals. Clean and polish the piston, and while your at it change ...

Red wire to spark plug, black wire to ground. Set the button for number of cylinders and that's it. Display is powered by a watch battery.

Re: Hi everyone... NCY Variator kit?
Update: Okay so the new 13g NCY rollers are in, I'll report back in about 1 week. So far as the sliders go; even the 12g sliders were down on top end so I can't help thinking Sendler was right when he suggested 11 or 12g being the correct selection for sliders, having tried 13g and 12g if I was goin...
