Re: termoscud r082
It's weird... I'm sure that the shape of the front panels is different in the new model, and therefore Tucano should have redesigned their termoscud for the 2014 PCX, but let's see if some owners of the older PCXs let us know if their termoscud protects their legs as they should, or the feel the air...

Re: termoscud r082
It's strange... perhaps the Tucano Termoscud that you have purchased is intended for the previous model PCX and, given that the 2014 panels/shape is slightly different, it affects its protection from the elements? Is there a different model for the new PCX?

Re: How-To: Change Final Drive Oil
About 7oz of oil will come out. The stock oil will smell funny, gear oil has a particular smell to it. So, the PCX comes with stinky, thick, gear oil in the final drive but the manual tells you to put back engine oil? Very interesting question, and I also thought about it when I read it... let's ho...

Re: Seats from Thailand
Having a custom seat in one's bike is a very good thing! We wouldn't even think about purchasing a car whose seat and steering column wouldn't adjust in every possible direction, but we, motorcyclists, are only offered adjustability in very expensive motorcycles and in some occasions, paying extra d...

Looks great, and must be really comfy!!! They are going to sell lots of seats, I'm sure, and even more if they customise the seat, if necessary

Re: reflective tape... now you see it
Ok WN, the 7/16" reflective tape is not an unattractive trim and looks great in the daylight. I need to video again under different conditions before I'm convinced its not visible at night. I just don't want people having a false sense of security or putting the time in only to see what I saw....

Re: Seats from Thailand
It really is......... looks really nice!!! Perhaps before installing it in the PCX you can take a picture from the same angle than the one that Mel received, and this way we can compare their difference in shape easily?SECoda wrote:The seat is beautiful....

Re: Seats from Thailand
I just heard from MP.MOTOR. My seat is finished and being packed for shipment. They even sent me a picture of the completed one. They had to lean the back brace some because of how far back it is, but it came out great. Here is a picture of it. You can see that the brace has been moved further back...

Re: Seats from Thailand
Well, i just looked up the ruler markings on google. Looks like the marks are centimeters with millimeters between them. I hope i can get the manufacturer to make those changes. I'm sure that they thought that you meant "cm" instead of "mm", as it was almost impossible to place ...

Re: powder coat... dangerous?
wow I'm surprised there isn't legislation regarding PC and aluminum wheels on cars and bikes. Thank you very much for the information, and about legislation, I'm sure that (at least in Spain) if one powdercoats his/her wheels and they fail while driving, and because of the failed wheel, there is an...

Re: Being conspicuous -- Skene Lights, early morning low lig
They look really bright!! A very good safety measure indeed :D :D :D :D Don't all you members ride high-beam during daylight hours? Low is certainly not noticeable to traffic. I can see the high reflecting off the backs of vehicles in front of me where-as I see nothing like that in low beam during t...

Re: Skene Photon Blaster front lights
I haven't thought about this option, but I'm sure that it will catch motorists' attention! (the problem here in Spain is that it would also catch Law Enforcement Officer's attention...   ) Perhaps if they were solid, instead of flashing, they would be more "allowed" and ...

Re: How-to: Install a top box PCX 2015
Overall are you happy with Shad's products? I've looked at them many times online and often wonder why folks don't buy them as quickly as they buy Givi. Is it just the name Givi that make them sell more? I guess. Yes, I'm very happy with this box ;) My other scooter has a GIVI box, which I have use...
