Re: Warranty - Diy service or let dealer do it?

I doubt the mapping was altered, that would be a service update/TSB that surely would be discussed here. Most likely the valves and oil just brought it closer to OEM operational specs.

Re: Front Box Confusion

Probably not, with some skill, a dremel and some touch up paint , you could get the door to shut with a space groove for the wire. Easier way is to reroute the usb to a weatherproof recepticle on the dash somewhere. 45 min labor, ill guess

Advice for anti theft

My new pcx will sit in a parking stall in a secure condo garage. I cannot chain it to anything. We had a scooter stolen last year, but it was poss an inside insurance job, for the most part it is a safe environment. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas to add to my plan: 1. Front disc audible lock...

Re: Reinstalling the coolant clip

I would replace it with a push-popper from any honda car dealership for about 20 cents, they use them all over their cars to hold all the assemblies in place.

Re: How-To: Swap the Rear Suspension

Mel- I am doing this mod is soon as I get the bike in a week or two. I want to because of the preload feature and on a very shallow note, I like the red springs. LOL My question to you is for a person who is going to ride just through neighborhoods, weighs 225 pounds, will the lowered position sgrou...

Re: Bought my PCX today

So I'm still on the road and scoot is waiting for me to get home July 1 but I've been busy with a few ideas already. Here's the 1st round of mods planned. Decalzone sells diff widths of car striping tape I've used before so I'll play around with adding some color to the white canvas to get some more...

Re: Bought my PCX today

I think I can hold off on the windshield… I'm right on the beach so the wind blows the bugs away from me ....I'm not in buggy weather at all certainly not like Orlando and love bugs. Wrote a BMW K 1100 RS for years down here with no bug problems, where I'm at.... This is a neighborhood form of trans...

Re: Bought my PCX today

Now the question is, and I'm sure I should put in accessory section, but do I need the tall windshield. I am never going to be above 40 -45 miles an hour in Fort Lauderdale on neighborhood roads. I'm holding off…

Bought my PCX today

Bought and paid for a metropolitan last week that I have yet to pick up. In reading this site and others I started to realize that it was just going to be too slow for many roads in Ft Laud that I'm going to be on. So this morning I recontracted for a PCX. Got the white one so I can do some paint st...
