Re: Side stand vs center stand
We lack a garage, so the bike gets parked outside all year long. The previous scoot was a Wing (6 cylinder, 1800cc), and for that I bought a large Cycle Shell. This is now where I park the Forza (divide previous specs by 6 each). I always park it on the side stand. The only time I use the center sta...

Re: Front wheel removal
Nevermind. It’s an 8mm hex driver for the pinch bolt. And the 17mm fits perfectly for the axle.MBMyer wrote:So the axle needs a 17mm hex driver. What about the pinch bolt? What size hex driver is needed there for the Forza 300?
Sorry to trouble y’all for no good reason.

This looks a whole lot easier than the mods I went through to get the Vista Cruise throttle lock to work:

Meant to be termoscud, it's the wrap on leg cover, a must for any scooter owner in winter in my opinion :) http://www.tucanourbano.com/eu/motorcycle-scooter-leg-covers-hand-covers/termoscud.html?p=5 Yep! I’m a year-round rider and especially love the termoscud when it is both cold and wet. On a sho...

Re: 2016 Honda Forza 300 Starter Motor won't Start
For what it's worth - on the PCX - at some point I got into the habit of holding in the starter button and the starting the bike by pulling in the left brake. Not sure why, but it just seems easier to get the right tension on it. That’s funny. My habit on the Forza is to squeeze the brake lever, ho...

I bought my paper copy at http://www.helminc.com/helm/Result.asp?Style=helm&Mfg=AHC&Make=AHC&Model=NS01&Year=2014&Category=1&Keyword=&Module=&selected%5Fmedia= , but it now shows as Out Of Stock. I have electronic copy of the 2014 Forza shop manual (PDFs) that I found...

Re: New Member, Tall Screen Colour and GPS
Since I’m not terribly regular here on the forum, I feel like a fraud welcoming you, but welcome. I’ve always preferred to look over rather than through a screen, but I don’t share gn2’s experience of taller screens increasing noise & buffeting. And from other bikes, I know that I prefer a short...

Re: Michelin Tires (City Grip) Forza 300 ??
Has anyone been able to find a Michelin city grip(rear and front) tire in the factory stock size for this bike?? Appreciate info. Thx My stock rear was toasted and got replaced at 4600 miles. I installed a Michelin City Grip sized 150/70-13 last December. It has been a better tire in every way, des...

Re: Questions regarding new Forza 300
Down here in the warm south, I don’t use a battery tender since I ride nearly every day. Nevertheless, I do have a quick-disconnect attached to my battery for powering a small air-pump and for allowing connection to a charger for that day I go outside and discover that the battery has decided not to...

Re: Russell Daylong Seats
Hello all - Had a chat last week with Jay at Russell Daylong Seats. We discussed a new seat for my Forza. He said they had done a seat for a Forza owner. Is there anyone on this forum with a Russell Daylong seat?? What’s his price for a Forza 300 saddle, and does he need a new seat pan to build on?...

Re: How to remove the rear wheel in 6 minutes (video)
easyrider, thanks for the Forza rear removal video. I’ve saved a copy to the folder of my hard drive that also contains my shop manual. It came just at the right moment, since I may have to swap out the rear soon. It’s still got plenty of tread left, but I had to plug it last Friday while I was away...

Re: Malossi rear shocks (twins!)
In that case, next time, it might be better to check? Aftermarket parts are rarely as reliable as OEM. I have found that, often, aftermarket is better and more reliable than OEM. I lost track of the number of microswitches that were changed out under warranty on the Wing, and both sets of hand cont...

Re: Malossi rear shocks (twins!)
Oh, and it only just now occurred to my fatigued and aging mind that what might be more helpful than months of service is miles of service.
These weeping shocks have ~3500 miles (~5600 km) on them.

Re: Malossi rear shocks (twins!)
What warranty do you have on them? Are they re-buildable? I have no idea what warranty I have on them, nor whether they are rebuildable. I want to bolt parts like these on and then forget about them. I ride this bike nearly every single day and don’t have time to be dealing with failure. The ride h...
